Randy Rainbow Skewers Trump Via Jonas Bros "Suckers"

Political satirist Randy Rainbow offers his riff on the Jonas Brothers recent #1 hit, "Suckers," as he skewers Trump supporters for their blind allegiance.

Political satirist Randy Rainbow offers his riff on the Jonas Brothers recent #1 hit, "Suckers," as he skewers Trump supporters for their blind allegiance.

The segment with dueling Lindsey Grahams is cute, but my favorite moment is incorporating Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's now famous 'clapping' at one of the Donald's State of the Union addressed.

Cute way to start the week. By the way, did I mention Randy is nominated for an Emmy Award in the short form category? Congrats to Randy!

Randy Rainbow offers up a 'wonderful' parody of Rodgers & Hammerstein's "In Love With A Wonderful Guy" from South Pacific for Hump Day.

Randy Rainbow offers up a 'wonderful' parody of Rodgers & Hammerstein's "In Love With A Wonderful Guy" from South Pacific for Hump Day.

But in this satirical take on Donald Trump's head-scratching attraction to tyrannical leaders, Rainbow sings "He's In Love! (and we're all gonna die)."

I don't want to spoil any of the terrific tongue-twisting tweaks on Hammerstein's words, but I can promise if you hit play below you'll have a smile on your face.

By the way, Randy has tour dates up, so if you'd like to see the brilliant satirist in person, click here for info.

SNL Cold Open: Steve Martin Guests As Newly-Indicted Roger Stone

SNL's cold open recapped the week's biggest political stories including Donald Trump's failure to get even one dollar for his beloved border wall before ending the longest government shutdown in history.

From the YouTube description: Tucker Carlson (Alex Moffat), Jeannine Pirro (Cecily Strong), Ann Coulter (Heidi Gardner), Wilbur Ross (Kate McKinnon) talk about the government shutdown and Roger Stone (Steve Martin) stops by to talk about his arrest.

Riffing on his recent gaffe wondering why furloughed government workers were struggling to make ends meet during the shutdown, McKinnon's Ross says, “I simply meant that there are other ways of getting money - like, they could have liquidated some of their stocks or sold one of their paintings.”

“Even if they sold a lesser Picasso, that’s still going to get you through a week or two of yacht maintenance,” McKinnon as Ross said. “We all have to make sacrifices in times of hardship. For example, instead of going out to dinner you could open a restaurant in your house, or, for a period of time, you could have your horses attend public school.”

And Martin was spot on as Roger Stone mocking the political operative for being a “broke… feeble old man” who is drowning in legal fees and can’t get anyone to buy his books (“because they’re bad!”).

“Just tell people how they can donate money to help you,” Carlson says.

“I set up a donation pageant based on a phrase people have been yelling at me: ‘Hey, Roger, go fund yourself!’” says Martin's Stone.

Funny: What If Kevin Spacey Turned To Infomercials?

There’s lots of news going on around the upcoming January arraignment of Oscar winner Kevin Spacey regarding allegations of sexual assault.

Ever since the explosion of reports of inappropriate sexual misconduct began over a year ago, the bad press has made employment options for Spacey understandably slim.

His agents fired him, his publicist fired him, his manager fired him. I mean, what’s he gonna do?

Perhaps there’s work to be had as… an infomercial pitchman?

That’s what the funny folks at VegBurger envision in this neatly-edited parody video which riffs off Spacey’s recent creepy YouTube video

Watch as Spacey extols the virtues of “Stiff Cup” - a nearly indestructible coffee mug - as “too strong, too powerful.”

The Stiff Cup is also, apparently, very easy to use (“Wouldn’t that be easy? If it was all so simple?”).

For the low, low price of $49.95, you not only get your own Stiff Cup - wait, there’s more - but a beautiful ‘designer ring’ just like the one worn by Spacey in House of Cards.

Watch the clever clip below.

With lightning speed, political satirist Randy Rainbow delivers another winning parody with his take on the Beauty and the Beast showstopper, "Be Our Guest."

With lightning speed, political satirist Randy Rainbow delivers another winning parody with his take on the Beauty and the Beast showstopper, "Be Our Guest."

Rainbow's version, "Just Be Best," is a riff on First Lady Melania Trump's ironic anti-bullying initiative #BeBest.

Just be best, just be best,
Just be better than the rest,
Put your shiny new self-righteous phony slogan to the test

Last week, in an interview with ABC News, Melania told the world she feels that she is "one of" the most bullied people in the world.

Really...?

New Randy Rainbow Parody of "Camelot" - "Kavanaugh!"

As a fourth accuser has come forward regarding alleged sexual assault/misconduct by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanuagh just days before Dr. Christine Blasey Ford is set to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday, Randy Rainbow comes to the rescue with another brilliant political parody.

Rainbow brings us his take on the venerable Lerner/Loewe classic, "Camelot." But in this case, he's thinking "Kavanaugh."

Now Grassley’s having late night Twitter meltdowns
And Spartacus is practically in tears
He’d rather he withdraw
Is this the final straw
Or is this just the start of 40 years…
with Kavanaugh?

In Mr. Rainbow's iteration, though, we are discussing Donald Trump being "A Very Stable Gen-i-us."

Very clever lyrics. Watch below and Happy Monday!

Andy Borowitz: No Military Parade For Trump Due To Sudden Bone Spurs Outbreak

No military parade for Donald Trump as satirist Andy Borowitz imagines hundreds of thousands of military service members suddenly developing "bone spurs" as Trump did to evade the Vietnam draft

On a lighter note, The New Yorker's brilliant satirist Andy Borowitz "reports" that Donald Trump's big military parade will not be possible as hundreds of thousands of military service members have suddenly developed bone spurs making marching in a parade simply impossible.

The Pentagon has turned down Donald J. Trump’s request for a grand military parade in Washington, D.C., citing a sudden outbreak of bone spurs that would prevent men and women in uniform from participating.

Harland Dorrinson, a Pentagon spokesman, said that, within an hour of Trump’s request, more than a hundred thousand military personnel complained that they were suffering from acute cases of bone spurs that would make marching in such a parade a painful ordeal.

“In the history of the U.S. military, we have never experienced a bone-spur epidemic of this magnitude,” the spokesman said. “Regrettably, however, we have no choice but to issue thousands of deferments.”

New Randy Rainbow Parody: "You Can't Stop His Tweets"

Ah yeah, Monday gets kicked off in sassy 60s-style as Randy Rainbow rocks a riff on "You Can't Stop the Beat" from Broadway blockbuster Hairspray.

Randy's high-energy, rapid-fire lyrics are totally on point as he tweaks the Tweeter in Chief with "You Can't Stop His Tweets." And Marc Shaiman's melody was totally built to bop to.

This may be Randy's best parody song yet.

SNL: Kate McKinnon Kills With Spot-On "Betsy DeVos"

Is there anything Kate McKinnon can't do?

I guess it was just a matter of time before McKinnon turned her talents on Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, and after DeVos' disastrous 60 Minutes interview the time was sure right.

Trying to explain her public embarrassments, McKinnon's "DeVos" shared that she does indeed have innovative ideas that are based on state-by-state needs such as schools for bears in Wyoming, and that “in North Carolina, stop being trans, and that’s what’s best for them.”

She also seems to know why the 60 Minutes interview veered off-course: “I think it’s because I do not do a good job, and I can’t, because I don’t know how.”

Randy Rainbow Interviews Education Secretary Betsy DeVos

Randy Rainbow Gives Dana Loesch A Tongue Lashing With "Kids" Parody From BYE BYE BIRDIE

New Randy Rainbow! Squee!!!

This time Randy takes on truly terrible NRA spokesperson Dana Loesch with his parody of "Kids" from the 1960 Broadway hit Bye Bye Birdie.

The "kids" Randy's referring to are the students from the Parkland high school in Florida who not only survived the terrible gun massacre there but are harnessing lots of support for gun legislation.

Notable that the song "Kids" was originally sung on Broadway by gay actor Paul Lynde.
