Omarosa: "Hillary Clinton Was Robbed And I Was Complicit"

Omarosa on 'The View
Holy crap!

Former White House something-something Omarosa Manigault-Newman sat down on The View Monday and admitted to the world she regrets being "complicit" in the election of Donald Trump.

“At some point you have to stop a toxic relationship. I was in a toxic relationship with Donald Trump, and I regret that I was so complicit.

"You know, Hillary Clinton was robbed. And I was … a co-conspirator in that robbery. And I will regret that for the rest of my life that I was a co-conspirator along with the rest of the folks on this campaign that I helped this con man get into office.

"It’s very clear if you look at the report from the intelligence community that Russia assisted Donald Trump with getting elected.

"He might ignore it but I actually respect the intelligence community and their findings in that report. Have you seen that report? It’s airtight.”

I freely admit I've never been a fan of Omarosa.

BUT - girl, has the receipts! She's got the recordings and she's playing them, so I'm tending to believe her account so far.

She also recently revealed that several White House staffers would use the hashtag #tfa (meaning "25th Amendment" which could technically remove Trump from office) in emails and communications when referencing a particular crazy Trump moment.

Trump Rants At "Nasty," "Mean" & "Vicious" Omarosa

Just hours after former White House aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman appeared on television playing recorded conversations with the president, Donald Trump lashed out at the woman who he has repeatedly hired over and over since the beginning on his reality TV show, The Apprentice.

Referring to Omarosa as "nasty" and "mean" (then why did he hire her so often?), Trump tweeted that she was "hated" in the White House for being "vicious."

Omarosa Releases Recorded Telephone Call With Trump

But wait, there's more!

After yesterday's reveal of a conversation where White House Chief of Staff appears to be firing former White House aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman in the Situation Room of the White House, today she shared a telephone conversation with the president himself.

Allegedly recorded the day after she was fired, in the conversation Trump appears to have no knowledge his former reality show star had been fired.

From NBC News:

Omarosa Manigault Newman, the former “Apprentice” contestant who became a White House aide, has provided an audio recording that she says is from 2017 and on which President Donald Trump expresses surprise that she’d been fired from his administration. The tape, which was played exclusively Monday on “Today,” appears to show Trump having no idea that Newman had been dismissed by his Chief of Staff John Kelly.

“Omarosa? Omarosa what’s going on? I just saw on the news that you’re thinking about leaving? What happened?” Trump is heard saying on the tape, which Newman said was made one day after her termination in December 2017 when Trump called her. “You know they run a big operation, but I didn’t know it,” Trump is heard saying on the tape. “I didn’t know that. Goddamn it. I don’t love you leaving at all.”

Here's the full interview with NBC's Savannah Guthrie. Well worth the watching. Omarosa is incredibly disrespectful and demeaning to Guthrie.

Ormarosa Allegedly Recorded Private Trump Conversations

Omarosa Manigault-Newman
Ruh-roh...

From The Daily Beast:
Michael Cohen, Donald Trump’s former personal attorney and fixer, isn’t the only one with secretly recorded audio of the president.

Multiple sources with direct knowledge of the situation tell The Daily Beast that Omarosa Manigault-Newman, the infamous former Apprentice star who followed Trump to the White House, secretly recorded conversations with the president —conversations she has since leveraged while shopping her forthcoming “tell-all” book, bluntly titled UNHINGED.

For months, it has been rumored that Manigault had clandestinely recorded on her smartphone “tapes” of unspecified private discussions she had in the West Wing. Audio actually does exist, and even stars Manigault’s former boss.

Omarosa: Trump's "Mental Decline Could Not Be Denied"

Omarosa Manigault-Newman (image via screen grab)
In her new tell-all memoir, The Apprentice reality celeb Omarosa Manigault-Newman appears to insinuate that Donald Trump's mental capacity is in rapid decline.

From The Daily Mail:

In an exclusive excerpt obtained by DailyMail.com, Omarosa, 44, who first met Trump when she appeared on The Apprentice and later became an assistant to the president, tells of the dread she felt while watching Trump's interview with Lester Holt last May.

'While watching the interview I realized that something real and serious was going on in Donald's brain. His mental decline could not be denied,' she writes in Unhinged: An Insider's Account of the Trump White House.

'Many didn't notice it as keenly as I did because I knew him way back when. They thought Trump was being Trump, off the cuff.

'But I knew something wasn't right.'

'For the Lester Holt interview, I watched it on a small TV in the upper press room (the lower press room was built on top of the old swimming pool and turned into the briefing room) by the press secretary's office,' she writes.

'Throughout this erratic and contradictory interview, I kept thinking, 'Oh no! Oh no! This is bad!

'Donald rambled. He spoke gibberish. He contradicted himself from one sentence to the next.

'Hope [Hicks, then communications director] had gone over the briefing with him a dozen times hitting the key point that he had fired Comey based on the recommendation by the DOJ which the vice president and other surrogates had been reinforcing for days.'

But when questioned by Holt, the president contradicted previous reports about how the senior law-enforcement officer was dispatched from his office.

Trump also said that he had been planning to fire Comey, apparently contradicting initial reports from the White House that it was a recommendation from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein that spurred Comey's ouster.

It's important to note that Omarosa was dramatically fired from her position as Director of African-American Outreach and escorted off the White House premises on December 13, 2017 following reports of an altercation with Chief of Staff John Kelly.

Tearful Omarosa On CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER: "I Was Haunted By Tweets Every Day"

Omarosa Manigault-Newman

A new clip from CBS' reality show Celebrity Big Brother features a tearful Omarosa Manigault-Newman saying she was "haunted" by tweets during her time as a White House aide in the Trump administration.

Via The Hill:

In the teaser, posted by the show’s Twitter account, Manigault-Newman, who also starred in the first season of The Apprentice with Trump, breaks down in tears opening up to fellow cast member Ross Matthews about her White House experiences.

“I was haunted by tweets every day,” she said in the clip. “Like, what is he going to tweet next?” She added that she tried to “be that person” that would stop the president from tweeting, but said that she was attacked by colleagues when she tried to intervene.

At one point, Matthews asks if Americans should "worried," Omarosa tells him "No, it's not going to be ok..."

Between the tears and the tense background music, it's quite the high drama.

Robin Roberts Throws Omarosa Shade - "Bye Felecia"

Omarosa Manigault Newman
Yesterday I reported on the firing of reality TV personality Omarosa Manigault Newman from her position in the Trump administration.

Today, Omarosa made the rounds of news shows denying the reports she was forcibly removed from the White House grounds. As usual with the former TV villainess, there's more and more drama surrounding her even as she exits.

But the best part of the Omarosa departure was a short comment this morning on Good Morning America.

At the end of the segment wherein Omarosa tried to preface some future media attention saying she has "quite the story to tell," Robin Roberts threw some serious shade with a subtle "Bye, Felecia."

Delicious.

Watch below.

Omarosa Out At The White House

Omarosa Manigault Newman, who entered the Donald Trump orbit as a villainess on his reality TV show, The Apprentice, has apparently resigned her position in the Trump administration.

The White House issued this statement:

“Omarosa Manigault Newman resigned yesterday to pursue other opportunities. Her departure will not be effective until January 20, 2018. We wish her the best in future endeavors and are grateful for her service.”

Omarosa held the title of director of communications for the Office of the Public Liaison, although no one really seems to know what that entailed.

During her time with Team Trump, she reportedly showed up unannounced with a 39-member wedding party, wandering around the grounds of the White House taking pictures. Shortly after that episode, she was banned from posting White House photos.

And then, of course, right after Trump's election she indicated that Trump had an "enemies list," telling the Independent Journal Review, “it’s so great our enemies are making themselves clear so that when we get into the White House, we know where we stand.”

The amazing April Ryan, veteran White House correspondent for Urban Radio Networks, has the real scoop:

Omarosa: "Every Critic Will Have To Bow Down To President Trump"

Reality TV personality and Donald Trump surrogate Omarosa Manigault, speaking to the press last night, said the newly-minted President-elect is making a list (and checking it twice) of people who did not support his run for the White House.

At Trump's election night party at the Midtown Hilton Hotel in New York, Omarosa told the Independent Journal Review that “it’s so great our enemies are making themselves clear so that when we get in to the White House, we know where we stand.”

An an example, Manigault reminded that Sen. Lindsey Graham did not support the Trumpster during the presidential cycle and instead cast his ballot for independent candidate Evan McMullin. “If [Graham] felt his interests was with that candidate, God bless him. I would never judge anybody for exercising their right to and the freedom to choose who they want. But let me just tell you, Mr. Trump has a long memory and we’re keeping a list.”

Check this video from earlier in the campaign where Omarosa spells out how Trump sees his enemies.

"It is the ultimate revenge to become the most powerful man in the universe."

Omarosa Says Donald Trump Wants The Presidency For Revenge

A new PBS Frontline documentary airing next week revisits the night that President Obama humiliated Donald Trump at the White House Correspondents Dinner after the Donald attempted to discredit the president as an American.

Featured in the segment is Omarosa Manigault, former Apprentice contestant, who tells us the true reason why Donald Trump is running for president:

“Every critic, every detractor, will have to bow down to President Trump. It’s everyone who’s ever doubted Donald, who ever disagreed, who ever challenged him. It is the ultimate revenge to become the most powerful man in the universe.”

Longtime advisor Roger Stone says that night in 2011 was “the night that [Trump] resolved to run for president.”

The documentary airs Tuesday night on PBS.

CNN's Don Lemon Shuts Down Trump Surrogate Who Couldn't Answer Direct Question

Wow. Things got testy last night on CNN when Donald Trump surrogate Omarosa Manigualt tried to avoid a direct answer to a question posed by anchor Don Lemon.

Via Raw Story:

Lemon began the segment by asking asking former Apprentice star and Trump backer Omarosa Manigualt about the Trump campaign’s “over the top” attack on Heidi Cruz on Twitter.

Omarosa began by saying “I don’t think we should start there” and attempted to talk about the Super PAC that ran an ad featuring a cheesecake photo of Melania Trump, only to have the CNN host shut her down.

“No no no. I’m not gonna let you do that. Omarosa, stop! ” Lemon said.

“Omarosa, stop! Okay, let’s stop. Cut the mic” he continued as she tried to talk over him. “We’re not doing that. I want everyone on this panel to answer the question directly, and I will let you –”

“You can ask questions, but you can’t answer them, Don,” Omarosa interrupted, leading to Lemon to cut the segment short with “We’ll be right back” before going to commercial.

Personally, I support Lemon here. I've grown weary of candidates or their representatives ducking/avoiding answer direct questions. You can get to your "spin" but answer the questions posed to you.

Trump's people will say Omarosa wasn't giving the proper "anti-Trump" answer. But, seriously people, stop I'm showing up to news shows with only pre-packaged talking points, with the intention to only deflect to scripted sound bites.
