Michael Buble Accused Of "Body Shaming" With Anonymous Butt Pic

This is kinda crazy.

Pop star Michael Buble is catching heat because he posted this picture (taken by his wife) to his social media saying "There was something about this photo lu took ,that seemed worthy of instagram.
#myhumps #babygotback #hungryshorts #onlyinmiami #picoftheday #beautifulbum"

Folks quickly attacked Buble saying he was "body shaming" the woman, or objectifying her because the lower part of her lower part was partially visible.

Get a grip, kids.

First of all, the woman chose to wear the shorts in public. I gather, since she's an adult, that she knows how she's dressed. If she has no problem going out in public wearing shorts that show half her butt, then she must not have a problem with being seen.

Second, her face isn't visible so she's anonymous. There's no shaming happening here.

Third, it's a tame compliment. He writes #beautifulbum. He didn't call her ugly or fat or unattractive.

Fourth, go back to number two. No one can see her face! Can you be "shamed" if you don't know it happened and no one knows who you are?

Bublé’s new CD "To Be Loved" will be released April 23, 2013, in the US.

Michael Bublé’s highly anticipated new studio album “To Be Loved” is scheduled to be released on April 23rd in the US (April l5th internationally), by Reprise Records.

The first single, “It’s A Beautiful Day”, co-written by Bublé, was released February 25th.

“To Be Loved”, Bublé’s sixth studio album follows his “Christmas” CD which sold seven million copies internationally and was the number two biggest selling album of 2011 (after Adele).

“My new record is about love, happiness, fun and yummy things. Getting to work with my friend and longtime collaborator Bob Rock (“Call Me Irresponsible”, “Crazy Love” and “Christmas”) who produced the entire album was very exciting. We’re a good team. I love the songs we selected this time out. It was also terrific working once again with my songwriting partners” commented Bublé.

Later this year, Bublé is scheduled to perform 10 sellout shows at London’s 02 Arena beginning June 30th.

Another reason to love Michael Buble

Michael Buble was performing during the iHeartRadio LIve concert at the P.C. Richard & Son Theater in NYC Nov. 8, when he made his feelings about Kardashian crystal clear the New York Post reports.

"Ladies and gentleman, I have a very special guest," he announced to the audience. "Please welcome Kim Kardashian."

But, after a short pause, Buble shot back, "Nah, just f**king with you! That bitch isn't coming on my stage," before transitioning into his cover of Nina Simone's classic "Feeling Good," which he said was dedicated to Kris Humphries.

Michael Bublé has a special holiday gift for his naughty and nice fans. The Grammy Award winning crooner presents "Christmas."

Christmas, produced by David Foster, Bob Rock and Humberto Gatica, was recorded primarily at Capitol Recording Studios in Hollywood and The Warehouse Studios in Vancouver. The album includes guest performances by Shania Twain on "White Christmas" and The Puppini Sisters on "Jingle Bells." Bublé also put his unique take on such classics as "Silent Night," "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas" and "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town." In addition, a Bublé original "Cold December Night" will be included on Christmas.

Michael, Michael Buble and I

I got to meet Bublé a few years ago at an Academy Awards party, and he was very charming, very nice and uber talented. At one point in the party, super-producer David Foster invited him to get on stage and sing, and Michael gave an impromptu performance that was terrific. I had been a fan before, and was even moreso after.
