Right-Wing Loon: Mayor Pete Will Be "The Greatest Threat To Religious Liberty In Our Nation's History"

Homophobe Bryan Fischer pens this essay for the virulently anti-LGBTQ American Family Associations' OneNewsNow site:
Bryan Fischer
These things make it to my inbox all the time. I only subscribe to such lists to keep tabs on what ridiculousness homophobic haters work themselves into.

Most of the mainstream doesn't ever see this kind of hate, but we deal with it every day.

Every now and then, I like to share these here on The Randy Report because we should know this kind of hate exists.

Homophobe Bryan Fischer pens this essay for the virulently anti-LGBTQ American Family Associations' OneNewsNow site:

Pete Buttigieg is an open and defiant homosexual who wants to be our next president. His sexual proclivities are enough all by themselves to disqualify him from the Oval Office.

We can certainly understand the left’s condemnation of Trump for his sexual romps with porn stars 12 or 13 years ago. This means, of course, that unless they are profoundly hypocritical, regressives will be able to understand our legitimate concerns about Buttigieg’s aberrant sexual conduct and what it means for his qualifications to become the leader of the Free World.

He is an enthusiastic supporter of “The Equality Act” (more accurately, “The Homosexual Supremacy Act”). This bill is the single greatest direct threat to the America established by the Founders. Under a Buttigieg presidency, it would indeed be “Homosexuality Uber Alles.” Buttigieg’s own sexual preference is a huge problem in all this. His identity is wrapped up in getting societal approval for his behavior. He cannot live in a society that does not celebrate his sexual choices. If that means trampling on the First Amendment, tough darts.

In other matters, Buttigieg believes “climate change” is a threat to our national security, and supports gun control laws, single-payer health care, and amnesty for illegal aliens. Do not let his boyish good looks and charm deceive you. He threatens everything that you and I cherish.

Under President Buttigieg, the First Amendment will be eviscerated. It will just be words on parchment, a relic of a time gone by when America was free.

Bottom line: President Pete Buttigieg will be the greatest threat to religious liberty in our nation’s history. Consider yourself warned.

Interesting that Fischer notes Buttigieg's "boyish good looks and charm."

Fischer was fired from his position as spokesman for the AFA back in 2015 after trying to connect LGBTQ people with Nazis, although he's been allowed to continue hosting a radio show for the anti-LGBTQ organization.

Hate Group Leader: If Cory Booker Is Gay, He Is Disqualified From Being Prez

Hate group leader Bryan Fischer tweets, "Is America ready for a homosexual president? If Cory Booker turns out to be gay, he is disqualified. Cannot have a man who engages in sexually deviant behavior in the White House."
Bryan Fischer

Wow.

In tweeting out a link to Politico's article on Senator Cory Booker's bid to become the Democratic candidate for president in 2020, virulently anti-gay activist Bryan Fischer, of the American Family Association, asks:

"Is America ready for a homosexual president? If Cory Booker turns out to be gay, he is disqualified. Cannot have a man who engages in sexually deviant behavior in the White House."

The U.S. Constitution lists the following as requirements to be president: one must be 35 years of age, a resident within the United States for 14 years, and a natural born Citizen.

While Booker has publicly stated he is not gay (and whether he is or isn't is none of our business), there is nothing in the Constitution that disqualifies someone LGBT from being president.

The American Family Association has been labeled a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The Twitterverse clapped back with a lopsided 12:1 ratio of comments to 'Likes.'

Bryan Fischer: Musicians Cancelling Concerts Is An Act Of "War" On Christians

Virulently anti-LGBT American Family Association spokesman Bryan Fischer has decided that the act of musicians (Bryan Adams, Bruce Springsteen) cancelling concerts in states with anti-LGBT laws constitutes an act of war against Christianity.

At the same time, the AFA has announced a boycott of PayPal for withdrawing business expansion plans in North Carolina over the recent 'hate law,' HB 2.

From the AFA:

It is astounding that Fortune 500 companies are ruining their reputation over a law that ensures men and women use separate restrooms. Many of these same corporations, including PayPal, are doing business in Saudi Arabia—a country in which homosexuals are fined, jailed or killed for their lifestyle. Yet where is the action there? This is the very definition of hypocrisy! It is understandable if companies lobby for a lower corporate tax or for more grants, but to weigh in on a bathroom bill is nonsense. If you have a PayPal account, join American Family Association and cancel it today.

I like what my friend Joe Jervis of JoeMyGod says about the hypocrisy of boycotts, according to the conservative right wing-nuts:

When powerful national Christian groups with millions of members call for boycotts, that is a righteous use of the free market in order to preserve morality, marriage, family, and the American way. But when pro-LGBT folks call for a boycott, THAT is homo-fascist intimidation, intolerance, bullying, economic terrorism, a stifling of religious liberty, and an attempt to deny the freedom of speech. And don’t you forget it.

Hate Group Leader: Obama Is Setting Up A Way For Courts To Legalize Prostitution

Bryan Fischer

Hate group leader Bryan Fischer hypothesizes (in his cyncial, bizarro world logic) that the real reason for the raid on the corporate offices of Rentboy is to set up a complex set of events that would lead to President Obama fighting for legalizing prostitution.

From Fischer's essay:

So the question naturally is why. Why would Obama suddenly bring the hammer down on homosexual prostitution?

Maybe, in the wake of the Ashley Madison hack, he wants to get all the client information from this website in federal custody to protect the identities of his political and social friends who may be customers.

Or Obama believes, with homosexuality being the flavor of the year in the world of sexual abnormality, this is the moment to haul homosexual prostitutes into court and get some federal judge somewhere to rule that prostitution cannot be made illegal under the United States Constitution.

With no prayer of getting a bill legalizing prostitution through Congress, his best hope is the court system.

And his best chance to get the favorable ruling he wants, given the current cultural zeitgeist, is if the defendants in courts are homosexual prostitutes rather than heterosexual ones. What politically correct judge today would dare to rule against the sin of sodomy anywhere at anytime?

In other words, Obama is pursuing this action not because he wants to punish homosexual prostitutes but because he wants the Supreme Court to exonerate them.

Obama knows that this action will be challenged in court, and that when the appeal makes it to the Supreme Court, he can count on the Court’s five homosexual activists to rule that laws against money for sex are antiquated, outmoded, and so 18th century.

And poof, the last vestige of moral standards with regard to adult sexuality will be gone.

In other words, Bryan Fischer has now completely lost his mind.

Bryan Fischer: Obama Was "Rude" To Bring Up LGBT Rights In Kenya

Bryan Fischer, of the anti-gay American Family Association, says President Obama was "rude" to stand up for LGBT rights during his visit to Kenya over the weekend.

Via Right Wing Watch:
"These political leaders know what homosexual behavior does," he said, and they "want something better for the African people than what homosexual conduct give them."

These leaders do not need someone like Obama lecturing them, Fischer continued, because they "are more enlightened" than the United State on this issue.

"We are smart enough, we are bright enough, we are intelligent enough, we are sane enough to make this kind of behavior contrary to public policy," Fischer said, as he approvingly laid out what he believe the correct African position on this issue to be. "We're not going to embrace it, we're not going to promote it, we're not even going to make it legal."

Nevertheless, President Obama went to Kenya and criticized laws criminalizing homosexuality which, Fischer said, "in my mind just makes him rude."

Interestingly, Fischer says that most African nations outlaw homosexuality, in part, because the continent has been ravaged by AIDS.

What Fischer leaves out is that the vast majority of HIV/AIDS patients in Africa are heterosexual.

Bryan Fischer Demands Conservative Gay Commentator Be Fired

Earlier this week, I reported on the coming out of Guy Benson, political editor at the conservative website Townhall.com.

Well, right on cue the American Family Association's reliable anti-gay asshat Bryan Fischer, who wasted no time in demanding that Benson now be fired from his position at Townhall.com because "gay."

Benson is young, smart, and articulate and often appears on Fox News as a pundit on all manner of political issues. This makes him particularly dangerous to the conservative cause.

Now I don’t know Mr. Benson, and he certainly seems like a particularly nice and friendly individual. But this is not about his personality. It’s about his politics.

Townhall, by the way, is owned by Salem Media Group, which describes its mission as “targeting audiences interested in Christian and family-themed content and conservative values.” To my knowledge, Salem has yet to explain how paying an openly homosexual activist to be the political editor of its main public policy publication is consistent with this mission.

If Salem leadership is to be at all true to its own mission statement, Benson must be replaced. His values on homosexuality are not Christian, family-themed, or conservative.

Oklahoma State Sen. Joseph Silk: Gays "Do Not Want People To Have Freedom"

Oklahoma state Sen. Joseph Silk has recently been in the spotlight for sponsoring a bill in the Oklahoma legislature that would allow religious business owners to legally discriminate against gay customers based on their "sincerely held religious beliefs."

Silk was quoted last week by the New York Times that gay people "don’t have a right to be served in every single store."

Today, Silk called in to virulently anti-gay Bryan Fischer's radio show to defend his legislation. During the segment Silk told Fischer's audience, "the LGBT activists do not want people to have freedom. They do not want people to be able to exercise their religious convictions. They don't at all and people really don't understand that."

Hate Group Leader: Order To Issue Same-Sex Marriage Licenses A Form Of "Slavery"

Yesterday, fired/demoted/something-like-that American Family Association radio host Bryan Fischer referred to U.S. District Judge Callie Granade’s court order on issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples in Alabama a form of "slavery," brought about by the "gay gestapo."

Via Right Wing Watch:

"When you are ordered by an agent of the government to violate your own conscience in something that you do, that is slavery. If you are forced to violate your conscience to do work, that is slavery. If you are forced to violate your conscience that is tyranny…that is the gay gestapo at work, 'you either do what we tell you or you’re gonna get punished.'"

Remember, when LGBT advocates refer to equality issues as "civil rights" the right wing loonies lose their minds.

BUT - they feel perfectly free to compare advances for gay Americans with "slavery" and Nazi Germany.

SRSLY.

American Family Foundation Denounces Hate Speech By Bryan Fischer

Yesterday, I posted about the "firing" of Bryan Fischer by the SPLC-certified hate group, American Family Association.

It seems the "firing" was more a transparent strategy to distance itself from the hateful rhetoric of Mr. Fischer; however, while he is stripped of his former title, he continues to host the organizations daily radio show and write for the AFA blog.

Ergo, he is still part of the organization.

Today, in a letter to the Southern Poverty Law Center, the AFA presented a laundry list of claims by their radio host Bryan Fischer and demanded that such bile-bearing hate speech not be attributed to their organization in the future.

The American Family Association's list:

• AFA rejects the idea expressed by Bryan Fischer that "Free exercise of religion" only applies to Christians. Consequently, AFA rejects Bryan's assertions that Muslims should not be granted permits to build mosques in the United States;

• AFA rejects the ideas expressed by Bryan Fischer that the violent expulsion of Native Americans was divinely ordained and that, "Superstition, savagery and sexual immorality" morally disqualified Native Americans from "sovereign control of American soil."

• AFA rejects the ideas expressed by Bryan Fischer that "we" need to clamp down on immigration because Hispanics are socialist by nature and vote Democratic because it allows them to "benefit from the plunder of the wealth of the United States."

• AFA rejects Bryan Fischer's characterization of minorities as "people who rut like rabbits."

• AFA rejects the statement by Bryan Fischer that, "Homosexuality gave us Adolph Hitler, and homosexuals in the military gave us the Brown Shirts, the Nazi war machine and six million dead Jews."

• AFA rejects the policy advocated by Bryan Fischer that homosexual conduct should be illegal.

• AFA rejects the notion advocated by Bryan Fischer that, "We need an underground railroad to protect innocent children from same-sex households."

• AFA rejects Bryan Fischer's statement that, "If Hillary Clinton becomes president In 2016, she will not only be our first female president, she could be our first lesbian president."

In light of this notice, do not continue to charge AFA with the statements by Bryan Fischer that we have repudiated. When identifying "hate groups" in the context of training military or law enforcement personnel, do not put AFA in a false light by quoting Mr. Fischer's statements that we have repudiated.

The SPLC responded in this manner:

Without ending Mr. Fischer’s talk show, without apologizing for the bigoted statements that he, Mr. Wildmon, and others associated with the AFA have made, and without making it crystal clear that the AFA will not tolerate any such statements in the future, the AFA’s 11th-hour disavowal of Mr. Fischer appears to serve only one purpose: to give the AFA a degree of plausible deniability while it continues to spew hateful rhetoric. It’s a shell game and a transparent one at that.

However, after the years of hate speech by Fischer, I'm more inclined to think along the lines of my friend Joe Jervis at JoeMyGod:

To the AFA's request we say FUCK THAT. Bryan Fischer is paid by the AFA, his office is staffed by the AFA, and his vile words are broadcast nationwide every motherfucking day by the AFA. As long at that continues to be the case, the American Family Association OWNS every fucking word that Bryan Fisher spews.

Hate Group Leader No More - Bryan Fischer Fired By American Family Association

For years, readers have seen me posted about the outrageous and hateful things that have spewed forth from Bryan Fischer - now formerly of the hate group, the American Family Association.

It seems all things must come to an end something, as the AFA announced tonight that Bryan Fischer is no longer the spokesman for the organization; the position he has held for years.

From the clip description:

Rachel Maddow tonight broke news that the American Family Association has officially fired notorious evangelist Bryan Fischer after a controversy involving the RNC and Israel. Fischer is notorious for having some––well, let’s not sugarcoat it––crazy views on gays, “homofascists,” more crazy views on gays, and… yeah, basically a lot of gay stuff.

Fischer is so out there, he concocted some insane conspiracy theory last year that the only reason Shepard Smith wasn’t freaking out about Ebola is because he wants to support President Obama‘s big government gay agenda.

At issue this time is an RNC trip to Israel that was apparently being paid for by the American Family Association, of which Fischer is the director of issues analysis.

Or, rather, he was. Until today.

Maddow quoted AFA President Tim Wildmon as dismissing Fischer as “just a talk show host” who is no longer associated with the AFA. When asked specifically what bothered him about Fischer, he cited “the soundbite quotes, you know, the Hitler and the homosexuality one… we reject that.”

I invite you to watch the video below where Rachel Maddow explains how this impacts the Republican National Committee and Israel.

Ding, dong, the witch is dead, which old witch? The wicked witch...

Bryan Fischer: You Are Literally Staring At Satan When You Meet Gay People

Hate group leader Bryan Fischer clearly doesn't understand the definition of the word "literally."

"I don't think you will ever find a more directly demonic energy than when you deal with the homosexual agenda.

[snip]

"They're vicious. They are mean. You literally are staring into virtually the unvarnished energy of Satan himself when you come up against the forces that are pushing the homosexual agenda forward."

Bryan Fischer - Victim Of Judicial Rape

From asshat homophobe Bryan Fischer today.

I still want him to explain how same-sex marriage is "imposed" on him or anyone.

If you don't want a same-sex marriage, don't marry someone of the same sex.

Is this hard???

Bryan Fischer Goes Full Stupid on Cause of AIDS

If AIDS is caused by the HIV virus, then it's a disease someone caught.

But, if it's caused by "immoral" behavior like those dirty, nasty, popper-using homos do, then it's the victim's own "fault"...

See what Bryan wants you to buy into there?

American Family Association: All Immigrants Should Be Forced To Become Christians

In spite of the fact that we have a US Constitution that all Americans have freedom of religion, Bryan Fischer (anti-gay hate group American Family Association) says that US immigration policy should be based upon the Bible, which means that all immigrants should be required to convert to Christianity.

Bryan Fischer: US is Christian nation because bacon

Anti-gay hate group leader Bryan Fischer says he can prove the US is a Christian nation because Bacon:

"You want one single item of proof that America is a Christian nation and not a Jewish nation and not an Islamic nation? One single bit of proof is all you need: we freely allow restaurants and grocery stores to sell and to serve bacon. That can only happen in a Christian country.

"So the sheer fact that we freely allow the sale and consumption of bacon is absolute proof that we are, in fact, a Christian nation."

Bryan Fischer says atheists should be banned from military service

Hate group leader Bryan Fischer says that atheists should be banned from serving in any branch of the military.

Via Right Wing Watch:

Responding to a situation in which an airman was denied his request to re-enlist in the Air Force because he refuses to take an oath containing the phrase "so help me God," Fischer asserts that atheists should be prohibited from serving in all braches of the military because "there is no place in the United States military for those who do not believe in the Creator who is the source of every single one of our fundamental human and civil rights."

Bryan Fischer: Gays should be disqualified from holding public office

Hate group leader Bryan Fischer says that all gay people should be disqualified (due to sexual deviancy) from ever serving in public office.

"My view of public service is that somebody who is engaged in sexually deviant behavior is not qualified to hold public office.

"That's why if you get a conviction for rape, you can't hold public office. You get a conviction for pedophilia, you can't hold public office. You might even get run out of office on a prostitution charge because it's sexually deviant behavior.

"Now lesbianism is sexually deviant behavior because it deviates from God's plan and design for human sexually. So I believe that this is a person who, because she's involved in sexually deviant behavior, should be, ought to be disqualified from public service."

American Family Association: The First Amendment only applies to Christians

Hate group leader Bryan Fischer

Hate group leader Bryan Fischer is in a "do as I say, not as I do" kind of mood today.

He has single-handedly decided that the First Amendment's protection to religious liberties only applies to Christians.

From his blog post today on the American Family Association website:

"I have contended for years that the First Amendment, as given by the Founders, provides religious liberty protections for Christianity only. Most attorney types, befuddled by years of untethered Supreme Court activism, think it covers any and all religions you can name.

"The results of this expansive but badly misguided understanding of the First Amendment have not been too costly to this point. But with Islam growing in America like a noxious weed, some of the more troublesome aspects of this distorted view of religious liberty are becoming evident, when it comes to things like school curricula, halal food, and Christian evangelism at Muslim street fairs."

Halal food must be very troubling to Bryan Fischer.

Fischer goes on to say that the Founding Father's never, ever, ever, never meant to say that "religion" meant all religions when writing the First Amendment.

Except, they did.

Article 11 of the Treaty of Tripoli, which was ratified unanimously and without debate by the US Senate in 1797 and signed by President Adama, reads as follows:

"As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion, - as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Musselmen,- and as the said States never have entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mehomitan nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries."

Bolding is mine. Clearly unequivocal in it's clarity. "The United States of America is not IN ANY SENSE founded on the Christian Religion."

Bryan Fischer, take a history class.  And stop misleading folks for your own purposes.
