Arizona Republican Congresswoman Busted For Fake Compliments On Social Media

Republican Rep. Martha McSally
Arizona congresswoman Martha McSally (R) got caught trying to compliment herself after posting a simple video status update regarding Arizonans’ service during the Vietnam War a couple of days ago.

The problem came when McSally (or whoever does her social media) forgot to switch accounts before posting some sock-puppetry praise.

The comment was deleted shortly thereafter.

McSally is campaigning for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Jeff Flake. Her fellow nutjob GOPers vying for the spot include former sheriff Joe Arpaio and Arizona State Senator Kelli Ward.

How embarrassing.

Amateurs.

Leaked Script: What The Trump Campaign Wants Black Voters To Hear

Republican presidential candidate has spent a lot of time talking about African-Americans and their lives in the U.S. during the last few weeks in hopes of courting their votes.

However, what he has not done is actually go into a black community or church and address those voters face to face.

Tomorrow, Trump will sit down with Bishop Wayne T. Jackson for a one on one interview that will air on Bishop Jackson's cable TV network, Impact Network.

The New York Times is reporting today, however, that Trump's side of the interview will be rehearsed. In fact, the campaign has already written his script for him.

Jackson apparently sent the list of planned questions to Trump days in advance of the sit down, and the NY Times has obtained a document containing Trump's carefully crafted answers.

An eight-page draft script obtained by The New York Times shows 12 questions that Bishop Wayne T. Jackson, the pastor, intends to ask Mr. Trump in the taped question-and-answer session, as well as the responses Mr. Trump is being advised to give.

The proposed answers were devised by aides working for the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee, according to an official who has been involved in the planning but declined to be identified while speaking about confidential strategy.

Given the importance of Donald J. Trump’s visit to a black church, the Trump campaign went so far as to script Mr. Trump’s answers to the church’s pastor's questions, which were submitted in advance. A draft of the script was obtained by The New York Times.

The document includes the exact wording of answers the aides are proposing for Mr. Trump to give to questions about police killings, racial tension and the perception among many black voters that he and the Republican Party are racist, among other topics.

According to reports, the scripted answers are light on policy, and written with the hope that Trump will be able to avoid the stumbles he's encountered in the past when asked about his faith.

Fake Hillary Email Sends Trump Followers Into Frenzy

A wannabe Trump troll really got the more gullible Trumpers in a frenzy today as they breathlessly retweeted what they believed was "proof" that Hillary Clinton was paying off pollsters to show her leading in the race for the White House.

A sad little Twitterer who goes by the handle "MassRafTer" posted the poorly Photoshopped image above trying to pass it off as a communication between the Hillary Clinton campaign and Public Policy Polling.

The truly cringeworthy aspect of the exercise was in seeing how many Trumpers believed the "fake email."

The next thing you know, Donald Trump Jr. retweeted the post and folks lost their minds. Mainly because Don Jr. fell for a such a badly done fake.

Even Public Policy Polling got into the fun by retweeting an Upworthy writer who called Jr. out for his naivete.

Fake GOP Candidate Beats Jeb Bush In New Hampshire Straw Poll

You really have to watch the "campaign ad" below. Brilliant.

From TIME:

Played by actor Frank Ridley, Fulbright is a mock-candidate who skewers typical politicians for Represent.us, a nonpartisan group that is pushing for campaign finance reform. He’s not even on the ballot anywhere.

But after he gave a stump speech cracking jokes about Republican candidates at the libertarian Republican Liberty Caucus’s national convention in Nashua, Fulbright beat some of them in the straw poll.

“Face it, I am a puppet for special interests and lobbyists,” Fulbright said. “And I will break any campaign promises that rub my donors the wrong way.”

Fulbright picked up a dozen votes, putting him way behind Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, who won with 445 votes, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader. But that was still ahead of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham and former New York Gov. George Pataki.

Dennis Quaid Freaks Out Onset

Going viral this morning, this phone video appears to show Dennis Quaid freaking out on his director and crew while shooting a new film.

Many believe this is a "Jimmy Kimmel" type stunt. Note - NSFW language.

What do you think? Fake or freak out?

Renounce Your "Gayness" For $100

This video, apparently from the "COGIC 107th Holy Convocation" (whatever that is), went viral today all over Facebook.

A 21 year old in Missouri is cleansed of his "gayness" by the Holy Spirit. According the goings-on in the video, at least.

"I am not gay no more! I am delivered! I don't like mens no more! I said I like women! Women, women, women, women, women, blub, blub, blub! I said women! I'm not gay! I would not date a man! I would not carry a purse! I would not put on makeup! I will, I will love a woman!"
And then the reverend who oversees the whole shebang hands him a $100 bill...

Duck Dynasty cast members - Before and After?

Cast members before Duck Dynasty: clean-cut and golfing

According to John Prager at aattp.org, the Duck Dynasty image of rough around the edges, red-necks isn't quite the full picture of the Robertson clan.

Check out the pic above and below of cast members who apparently aren't quite what they seem. According to Prager, they were quite clean-cut and wealthy before the fame of Duck Dynasty.

Things that make you go "hmm...?"

Family Research Council busted using faked image for anti-gay propaganda

Just another day in the lying land of the Family Research Council.

The image above was used in FRC's recent propaganda to show several concerned people at a "Boy Scouts Policy Meeting."  See the placard on the left side of the picture saying "2013 Policy Meeting?"  See the Boy Scouts emblem near the center of the image?  Jeremy Hooper from Good As You found just one, little problem:

It's a complete fabrication. FRC simply Photoshopped a Boy Scout logo and a "2013 Policy Meeting" placard onto an existing picture that they lifted from another site. The picture in question is actually from the website LegalGeekery.com and is described as being from the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

The LegalGeekery post is from 2009. See the original image below BEFORE Family Research Council performed their bigotry magic on it:

So, here's the thing, kids: if you have swallowed any of the FRC's sad diatribe against the LGBT community up to now, think about who you follow. Because for all you know, they are as fake as the image at the top of this post.
