• Variety: After receiving backlash for comments she made about politically correct casting saying that she should be allowed to “play any person, or any tree, or any animal," Scarlett Johansson clarified the comments saying they were "edited for click bait" and taken out of context.

• NewNowNext: If elected to Congress next November, Dan Baer would the first openly gay man to be seated in the Senate and just the third LGBTQ person elected overall, following Wisconsin’s Tammy Baldwin in 2012 and Arizona’s Kyrsten Sinema last year

• The Guardian: The number of people who said they considered gay sex to be wrong rose for the first time since the AIDS crisis.

• Washington Blade: People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has criticized gay adult studio Men.com for an alligator that appears in a scene of its latest porn video.

• Gaily Grind: World War II code-breaker and visionary mathematician who was castrated under Victorian-era anti-gay laws, Alan Turing will be the face of Britain’s new £50 note.

• Billboard Magazine: Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, rules the Billboard Hot 100 for a 15th week, moving to within a week of the record for the most time spent at No. 1 in the chart’s six-decade history.

Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito,” featuring Justin Bieber, and Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men’s “One Sweet Day” each spent a record 16 weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 in 2017 and 1995-96, respectively.

• There's going to be a Downton Abbey movie! Squeee! According to the BBC, the "original principal cast" will begin production later this summer, the film's producers said.

• A barista at Starbucks has been fired for mocking a man who stutters. After stuttering on his name during his order, the barista replied, ‘Okay, S-s-s-sam.’ When he received his coffee, his name on the cup was written as ‘SSSAM.'

• Twitter is deleting over a million fake accounts a day - double the rate from last October.

• Scarlett Johansson cast herself in the role of a transgender man in the upcoming film, Rub & Tug, and folks are not happy about it.

• I've been meaning to post this really heartwarming viral video of four fathers attending Pride for the first time with their LGBTQ children.

Produced as an ad spot for Dublin Bus, its really beautiful seeing the kids faces upon hearing their dads were heading to Pride with them on a rainbow-colored bus. Watch the short spot below.

Scarlett Johansson Spoofs Ivanka Trump In Parody Perfume Commercial "Complicit"

Scarlett Johansson takes her turn at Trump parody. On SNL this past weekend, the elegant Avenger offered her take on "Ivanka Trump" pitching faux perfume commercial, "Complicit."

The spot takes aim at the woman who "could stop all this, but won't."

"She's loyal, devoted, but probably should have bounced after that whole Access Hollywood bust thing," goes the voiceover.

And then there's the shot of what exactly "Ivanka" sees when she looks in the mirror :)

Jimmy Kimmel: Scarlett Johannson & Barry Manilow For (RED) Shopathon AIDS Fundraiser

Jimmy Kimmel asks Barry Manilow (who writes the songs that make the whole world sing, don't you know...) to write a jingle that will inspire folks to spend money during the (RED) Shopathon raising money for AIDS.

But Manilow needs a "muse." Who could we get? Hmm...
