First Trailer For 'Avengers: Endgame'

Marvel dropped the trailer for the upcoming Avengers: Endgame flick which lands in theaters April 24.

With half of the Avengers really gone after super-bad guy Thanos obliterated them with a snap of his fingers in the last installment, Chris Evans's Captain America (back to a clean-shaven twunk) leads the remaining heroes on a mission to bring everyone back from the dead.

I was digging Evans' beard, though...

Joining the good captain are Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), plus Nebula (Karen Gillian), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), Okoye (Danai Gurira), Ant Man (Paul Rudd), War Machine (Don Cheadle) and newly-minted Marvel box office champ, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel.

Watch the trailer below.

Trailer - "Avengers: Infinity War"

Marvel Studios dropped the trailer for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War today and it looks a-mah-zing!

Just about every single Marvel hero from the past few years is in this including three "Chris's" - Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pratt.  (They couldn't find a role for Chris Pine???)

Synopsis:
Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet -- the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.

Advance tickets for “Infinity War” went on sale on Fandango at 6AM this morning and by noon it surpassed the two previous top two record holders: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Black Panther.

In theaters April 27.

p.s. don't even get me started on Chris Evans' woofy beard and long hair...

New Spider-Man Drops In For New "Captain America: Civil War" Trailer

The new Spider-Man finally makes his debut in the latest trailer for “Captain America: Civil War.”

Iron Man calls on Spidey (or “Underoos,” as he hilariously refers to him), who’s evidently on his team, to use his web powers to steal Captain America’s shield and bind his arms.

“Hey, everyone,” Tom Holland’s character then says, perched on a car roof, in the final moments of the second trailer.

In theaters May 6, the action flick pits Captain America (Chris Evans) against Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.).

First Trailer for "Captain America: Civil War"

First trailer from the upcoming "Captain America: Civil War" is out, and it delivers.

Chris Evans' "Captain America" faces off against Robert Downey Jr.'s "Iron Man" in an effort to protect former side-kick "Bucky Barnes," played by the Auber-handsome Sebastian Stan.

Looks like the whole Avengers team makes an appearance throughout the film.

"Captain America: Winter Soldier" rocked, and this looks just as good. I applaud Marvel for keeping their super hero universe so intertwined across so many movies.

The new movie hits theaters May 6, 2016.

Chris Evans Leaps To Betty White's Aid At People's Choice Awards

Chris Evans may have won Favorite Action Movie Star last night at the People’s Choice Awards, but as a super hero he knows when to step into a situation:

The actor, who was seated near everyone’s favorite Golden Girl, Betty White, leapt into action to help her up the stairs to accept her Favorite TV Icon award. In short, he did exactly what Captain America would have done.

Polite, handsome, furry and talented. What's not to like about Chris Evans?

Parody - New Avengers Movie Trailer Set To "My Heart Will Go On"

Towleroad points up this high-larious mash-up of the new "Avengers: The Age of Ultron" trailer with Celine Dion's "My Hear Will Go On."

With attention to detail like Chris Evans' "Captain America" kicking open a door ("Once more, you open the door...") to Elizabeth Olsen's "Scarlet Witch" screaming on her knees ("You're here, there's nothing fear...") you've got to love the juxtaposition here.

Avengers Assemble for dying fan's wish

Chris Evans ("Captain America")

Stratford Caldecott, dying from prostate cancer, had a last dying wish - one that became one of the greatest superhero gifts ever.

Stratford, a big Marvel comics fan, wanted to live long enough to be able to see The Avengers: Age Of Ultron. So his daughter Sophie, with nothing to lose, posted the following request on her personal blog:

"We’re going to try and get in touch with Marvel to ask if they can fulfill dad’s dying wish by sending us a copy of the film for him to watch at home. But I think we can go further than that. We’re also going to tweet the Avengers actors and see if they will take a picture of themselves holding a sign saying ‘Captain America/Thor/Iron Man [insert name of character here] for Strat!’ so that we can surprise him with their messages of support and encouragement."

So what happens next?

Shortly thereafter, a Marvel executive arrived at her door, followed by Captain America: The Winter Soldier screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely with a promise to deliver a copy of the movie to her dad.

But - it gets better. Look below...

Heroes do sometimes appear in the nick of time.

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" breaks box office record for April

Give it up for Chris Evans and company, as the new Marvel flick Captain America: The Winter Soldier flexed some super-hero muscles to break April box office records with a $93 million debut in the US.

From the Hollywood Reporter:

Winning over critics and moviegoers alike, Marvel and Disney's Captain America: The Winter Soldier grossed $37 million from 3,938 theaters on Friday, the biggest day ever for the month of April, not accounting for inflation. The superhero sequel is expected to earn $93 million-plus for the weekend, also an April best.

Overseas, where it opened ahead of its North American launch, the $170 million tentpole has already earned $132.2 million and should finish Sunday with a whopping global total of $270 million or more -- only $100 million behind the $370.6 million earned by Captain America: The First Avenger in its entire run. So far, Captain America 2 is pacing 40 percent ahead of the first film, which debuted in May 2011.

Coming in at number two, the biblical epic Noah fell nearly 60% in it's second weekend.

Chris Evans in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier"

Yahoo!!! Can't wait to see hunky Chris Evans in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" this weekend.

In this sequel, Evans joins forces with the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) to hunt down an enemy in the nation’s capital.  In theaters now.

And although he looks striking in costume, just a reminder how great Chris is without the suit...

Chris Evans and brother Scott play "Sibling-wed Game" on Tonight Show

Scott Evans (L) and Chris Evans (R)

Chris Evans sat down with Jimmy Fallon last night on The Tonight Show to promote his new movie "Captain America - The Winter Soldier" which opens this Friday.  Can't wait!

As part of the festivities, however, Jimmy asked Chris' brother, Scott Evans (who played gay cop Oliver Fish on One Life To Live), to come out and play the "Sibling-Wed Game," where each brother is asked questions and they must try to give the same answer.

From the sound of things, it looks like Chris got the best of Scott a lot of the time while growing up.  But they both are very cute in the segments.  Chris' joy over the childhood events is contagious.
