Music Video: Five Drag Queens Compete In "Walk Me Home"

The indomitable P!nk chose the track “Walk Me Home” as the lead single for her new album, Hurts 2B Human, which dropped last week.

She initially released a music video for the single that featured her twirling through deserted nighttime streets with a chorus of dancing shadows.

But on Monday, the 39-year-old Grammy Award winner made it clear she wasn’t done exploring the song’s storytelling potential.

In a completely different take, P!nk collaborated with queer collective Sink The Pink from the UK on a lip-sync competition-themed video.

On their official website, Sink The Pink describes themselves as “ a collective of queens, club kids, pop superstars, creative juggernauts, flamboyant dancers and acclaimed designers.”

At the beginning of the new video, one drag queen walks out onstage to lip sync the song “Walk Me Home” for a pair of judges in a night club.

But before she can finish, she’s interrupted by another member of the collective.

As each of five queens takes to the stage - all wearing red dresses, blond wigs and red boots - they keep upping the stakes for the biggest and best performance they can deliver.

P!nk took to Twitter to share the video announcing, “This is the BEST lip sync battle I’ve ever seen - feast your eyes!”

P!nk makes me feel good. I like her music, I like her musical perspective on life. If you've never seen her in concert (and I'm not a concert kinda guy) you have to go. It's a totally feel-good experience.

And I love that a lyric in this song is "Can we pretend that we both like the president?"

P!nk Announces New Album And Previews 1st Single, "Walk Me Home," On ELLEN

OMG, I love me some P!nk.

Sitting down with Ellen DeGeneres this week, international pop-star P!nk announced she has a new album called Hurts to Be Human coming out in the spring, and even offered an impromptu preview of the first single, "Walk Me Home."

The singer chatted with Ellen about her 17-year relationship & marriage with husband Carey Hart; how if she were "truly happy" she would be 'useless' as a songwriter and artist; plus how she's really good at getting nominated for Grammys.

To be clear, though, she has won 3 Grammys out of 20 nominations. I'm guessing she's just feeling a bit of the dry spell since her last trophy win in 2010.

But, she's totally charming and fun. If you haven't seen P!nk in concert, make sure you do next time she's nearby. The best pop concerts I've ever attended.

Music Video: Pink "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken"

Following up her powerful, stripped down performance of "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken" on the Grammy Awards this weekend, pop star Pink has now released the music video for the song.

The black and white video features Pink's signature scorched-earth vocals while wearing a simple white t-shirt. Pink leaves behind the intricate staging and choreography she's known for giving us pure Pink.

She also shared via press release that she hopes the song will inspire folks to donate to UNICEF.

“As a UNICEF Ambassador, I am proud to work with an organization that supports and empowers women and children around the world. In honor of this incredible organization, in honor of this video for ‘Wild Hearts’ and in honor of girls and woman all over the world standing up for themselves, I am going to be making a donation in all of your names to this wonderful organization and I encourage you to do the same if the spirit moves you.’”

• Total LGBT ally and all-around badass pop star Pink will perform the national anthem at this year's Super Bowl. Her latest album, Beautiful Trauma, has sold over 2 million copies in just a few months.

• Alt-right provocateur, homocon and professional asshole Milo Yiannopoulos will be representing himself in his lawsuit against his former publisher, Simon & Schuster, after his own lawyers dumped him.

• Donald Trump says he wants $18 billion in funding for his wall along the Mexican border or he won't allow the DACA program to continue. The outcome will affect 800,000 young people who were brought to the U.S. as young children. Remember the 1,000+ times Trump told the world Mexico would pay for the wall?

My Favorite Thing Today: Pink & Channing Tatum Dance In Drag "Beautiful Trauma"

Easily my favorite thing today, Pink's new music video, "Beautiful Trauma," co-starring Channing Tatum is just about everything you could want in a video.

Framed in candy-colored fifties flair, the duo play a married couple who break into Fred & Ginger dance with ease, and all seems to be suburban perfection.

But what lies underneath reveals much more as Pink finds Channing experimenting with some cross-dressing fun.

Fearlessly challenging gender-norms, Channing twirls in a gorgeous gown as Pink wears gangster like a champ. A touch of lipstick for Channing and the kids are ready to kick up their heels.

What follows it what usually happens with dress-up playtime, multiple martinis and a friendly leather-clad playmate (played by dancer Nikki Tuazon).

As I've written before, I'm a huge fan of Pink and the song, "Beautiful Trauma," is another richly-woven pop-song from one of our top talents in music today.

And seriously, who wouldn't want to frolic with the ever-game Channing Tatum?

SNL: Pink's Explosive "What About Us"

On last night's Saturday Night Live, Pink delivered a no-holds barred "What About Us" complete with her signature scorched earth vocals.

The song has become a rallying cry (or primal scream) for many Americans living under Donald Trump's failed presidency.

Song Of The Day: Pink "What About Us"

Pink's striking new music video for "What About Us?" is as stunning as it is timely.

Making a powerful political statement, "What About Us?" puts the focus squarely on the communities whose rights are in danger in Donald Trump's America: minorities, same-sex couples, and immigrants.

We are problems that want to be solved
We are children that need to be loved
We were willin', we came when you called
But man, you fooled us, enough is enough
What about us?
What about all the times you said you had the answers?

The video was directed by Georgia Hudson, accompanied by evocative choreography via the Goldenboyz.

And, there's a gay relationship center stage for much of the video.

And as Pink was releasing the video, MTV announced she will receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2017 Video Music Awards on Aug. 27.

I'm a big fan of Pink. I loved the song when she first revealed it a few weeks ago. But she puts the disenfranchisement of many Americans in the spotlight here.

Which makes me love her even more.

Pink closes spectacular "Truth About Love" tour in Las Vegas

Three-time Grammy Award winner and uber-talent Pink closed her incredible "The Truth About Love" tour in Las Vegas last night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, and I was invited to go!

This is where I get all "fan boy" because I'm a big, big fan of Pink - her music, her passion, her authenticity AND her support for the LGBT community.

I had heard from several friends that this was the BEST concert they had ever seen. And now I know why.

From her first entrance, high above the stage, where she bungie bounced while singing "Raise Your Glass" to the acoustic version of "F**kin Perfect" downstage near the audience, to the amazing aerial sequence for "Sober," to her "Peter Pan on steriods" finale that had her literally flying over the entire arena and audience - this was an incredible event. That's all I can call the show because "concert" doesn't feel like it's encompasses what happened on the stage (or above it).

Michael and I attended with Olivia Newton-John, who is a big fan of Pink. So we got to say 'hello'  before the show. It was wild to be in the same room with these two hyper-talented artists.

If you haven't checked out her latest CD, multi-Grammy-nominated "The Truth About Love," GO GET IT!

The DVD of this concert was just released two weeks ago.  Check it out on Amazon and watch the show I just got to see.  You'll be blown away.

Cyndi Lauper & Friends: Home for the Holidays Concert - December 7th

Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors Fund today announced the 3rd annual “Cyndi Lauper & Friends: Home for the Holidays” benefit concert on Saturday, December 7th at New York City’s historic Beacon Theatre to help raise awareness about lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth homelessness and funds for the organization's Forty to None Project.

Cyndi Lauper will be joined on stage this year by P!nk, Josh Groban, Susan Sarandon, Nelly Furtado, the Indigo Girls, Rosie O’Donnell, Ingrid Michaelson, The Hives, Matt & Kim, Hunter Valentine, The Cliks, and returning host Carson Kressley. Additional guests will be announced soon.

Tickets will be available at Ticketmaster.com starting Friday, October 25th.
