The indomitable P!nk chose the track “Walk Me Home” as the lead single for her new album, Hurts 2B Human, which dropped last week.
She initially released a music video for the single that featured her twirling through deserted nighttime streets with a chorus of dancing shadows.
But on Monday, the 39-year-old Grammy Award winner made it clear she wasn’t done exploring the song’s storytelling potential.
In a completely different take, P!nk collaborated with queer collective Sink The Pink from the UK on a lip-sync competition-themed video.
On their official website, Sink The Pink describes themselves as “ a collective of queens, club kids, pop superstars, creative juggernauts, flamboyant dancers and acclaimed designers.”
At the beginning of the new video, one drag queen walks out onstage to lip sync the song “Walk Me Home” for a pair of judges in a night club.
But before she can finish, she’s interrupted by another member of the collective.
As each of five queens takes to the stage - all wearing red dresses, blond wigs and red boots - they keep upping the stakes for the biggest and best performance they can deliver.
P!nk took to Twitter to share the video announcing, “This is the BEST lip sync battle I’ve ever seen - feast your eyes!”

I've been listening (and watching) the talented musician since he proved he’s definitely no “Hit and Run” last May, and he’s had me “Feelin’ Right” ever since.

I chatted with the handsome singer about "Running From Me," the power of confidence and the importance of vibe in a recording session.
The Randy Report: After bouncy upbeat bops like “Hit and Run” and the liquid-sexy “Feelin’ Right,” your new single “Running From Me” is a dance floor banger. Do you plan on switching it up or is just this how the music comes?
Parker Matthews: I think I’ve grown a lot as an artist and had a great time exploring the different sides of who I am, and what I want to write.
This record was a very defining one for me, not only because it’s the first of some amazing new material I have on the way, but also because I wanted to instill a sense on confidence in the listener.
I wrote this record based off a personal story of mine, but I want the listener to realize that they hold the power and the confidence to do whatever they want because with that mentality, nobody’s gonna be running from them.
TRR: You dance in the new music video - is this the first time fans see you bust a move other than some party bouncing in “Hit and Run?”
PM: It was so great! I grew up dancing, and to be able to be on camera doing that was absolutely thrilling. My team and I brought in some incredible dance talent and I will definitely be bringing that vibe onto future records/ videos as well.
TRR: Your lyrics tend to express confidence in yourself. Are you as confident in real life? PM: You know, it’s interesting… When I’m being the artist side of me as ‘Parker Matthews’ on a shoot or on stage, I am super outgoing and confident. However, when I’m just with my friends, or out for the night, I’m pretty quiet and always kinda stay in the background.

TR: At this point, do you have a “process” in writing/recording? Or is every project approached differently?
PM: Every record has a general outline of being written and recorded the same way, but at the same time, it’s always a little different. A lot of the time, when writing, I’ll start with the chorus, and build from there.
However, for "Running From Me," I actually started with the very first line of the record, ‘You make me feel like everybody’s watching me…’ and I sat down and went from there.
When it comes to recording, I am all about the VIBE. Depending on what studio I’m in, I make sure all the candles are lit and we’re going in on that session. Having a good vibe during a recording session really translates to the record, in my opinion.
TRR: Who are you listening to today? Who’s at the top of your playlist?
PM: I’m listening to a little bit of everything right now. If the record speaks to me, I’ll get down with it for sure.
I love pop and dance music, but I also love a good power ballad, much like the record I have coming next (hint hint, wink wink). Thank you and the LGBTQ community for you amazing support!

Growing up in New Orleans, Louisiana, Rilan knew he wasn’t like the other kids as he spent his time acting, singing, dancing and listening to 70s glam rock and 80s synth pop artists like David Bowie, Prince and Boy George.
When the time came to begin his journey as an adult, Rilan chose to head to Los Angeles and pursue music rather than spend years studying in college.
Rilan thought he would find in the city of angels a community of artists looking to express their authentic selves.
It turns out that wasn’t what the young artist experienced in Hollywood.

“Everyone pretends they're flawless, famous, and filthy rich when in reality they're broke, broken, and bitter, constantly looking for anything that will make them feel better,” Rilan laments. “Most of the time, that’s sex or drugs.”
Not one to mince words, the 24-year-old calls it like he sees it.
"Everyone I’ve dated in LA has been a user,” says Rilan. “A user of people, money, substances or all three. They are who ‘Love Or Drugs’ is about.”
“‘Love Or Drugs’ is a satire,” he explains. “It’s everything I’ve seen while going out and trying to fit in in the Los Angeles music scene. It’s everything that people do but don’t talk about. It’s ridiculous, it’s over the top, it’s bullshit, and that’s exactly what Hollywood is.”
The former GLEE cast member (he spent 2015 as a ‘Dalton Academy Warbler’) says the only way he knows how to deal with the fakery is to make fun of it.
With an all-star team that includes manager Randy Jackson (American Idol) and Lady Gaga’s choreographer Richy Jackson, Rilan envisioned the music video for “Love Or Drugs” as “an exaggeration of parties in LA.”
Calling the new song “a big F U to pop culture,” the young artist says he rejects what popular music has come to represent nowadays, “Money, sex, drugs, and superficiality.”
Proud of having “never been normal,” Rilan dedicates the new song to “all of the weird kids who showed up to the party and left early because it really wasn’t cool after all.”
Fans think the singer/dancer is pretty cool, though. His debut music video, "Chemical," has garnered over 2.2 million views on YouTube.
Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying, of the Grammy Award-winning a cappella group Pentatonix, teamed up with Olympic medalist Adam Rippon, for their new music video, a cover of the 1988 When In Rome hit, "The Promise."
Recorded under Grassi and Hoying's side gig as Superfruit, the boys deliver an updated version of the song as Rippon returns to the ice for visuals.
Rippon recently announced that he's retired from competitive skating, but great to see he'll still indulge his fans with a skate here and there :)
Beautifully shot and edited as Rippon glides and spins effortlessly around Hoying and Grassi.
Following up her powerful, stripped down performance of "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken" on the Grammy Awards this weekend, pop star Pink has now released the music video for the song.
The black and white video features Pink's signature scorched-earth vocals while wearing a simple white t-shirt. Pink leaves behind the intricate staging and choreography she's known for giving us pure Pink.
She also shared via press release that she hopes the song will inspire folks to donate to UNICEF.
“As a UNICEF Ambassador, I am proud to work with an organization that supports and empowers women and children around the world. In honor of this incredible organization, in honor of this video for ‘Wild Hearts’ and in honor of girls and woman all over the world standing up for themselves, I am going to be making a donation in all of your names to this wonderful organization and I encourage you to do the same if the spirit moves you.’”
Totally adorable gay couple Jakub and Dawid recently married in Portugal and then honeymooned in Scandinavia where they shot and produced this officially sanctioned music video for Roxette's "Good Karma."
The couple had previously produced a video for Roxette's "Some Other Summer" which went viral racking up over 579K views on YouTube.
Said Dawid, "It was totally different than recording our first video. This time, we got an official permission from Roxette for our recordings so our hands were a bit shaky because we knew that such a legendary band were going to watch it."
The results are way cute, and so reminiscent of classic music videos.
I love that the press release for Tove Lo's newest music video, "Disco Tits," begins with the words "pop provocateur" because it's just about as accurate a description as you can get. This is a wild and wooly affair.
"Wooly" in part because her co-star for the road-tripping vid is a Muppet who gets down, gets high and more. You may not want to watch with folks you don't know too well.
Directed by long-time collaborator Tim Erem and shot on location in the California desert, the video is a tongue-in-cheek take on a day-in-the-life-of the notorious Swedish pop star.
“Disco Tits” is the first single from the upcoming album, Blue Lips, due later this year via Island Records.
According to Tove Lo, "Disco Tits is about losing yourself with your new found love. Naive, excited, no consequences. The happiness in the haze I'm feelin right now."
Check out Youngr’s latest single - ’93 - which is a fun retro look at the way social media has changed the way we all connect (or disconnect) compared to life in the ‘90’s.
The video for ‘93 features current live footage of Youngr on tour mashed up with home footage shot by his mother in the ‘90’s.

And as Pink was releasing the video, MTV announced she will receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2017 Video Music Awards on Aug. 27.
I'm a big fan of Pink. I loved the song when she first revealed it a few weeks ago. But she puts the disenfranchisement of many Americans in the spotlight here.

The moving music video tells the story of a gay couple's happy life marred by an accident.
The video is sweeping both visually and sonically, giving a nod to the band's classical training.
The band’s first big hit was the 2014 3X platinum Jess Glynne collaboration “Rather Be,” which established itself as a massive global hit and ignited the career of the North London-born soul/pop singer.
The track held the #1 spot in the UK’s Singles Chart for four consecutive weeks and won a Grammy Award for "Best Dance Recording."

Snakehips new video for "Cruel" featuring Zayn Malik is the kind of trippy, sexy video that feels cool even if I have no idea what it's about.
Non-stop, hyper-color imagery with a groovy, electro-vibe, mid-tempo beat and a brooding, smoldering, easy on the eyes Zayn, and you got something going on. I don't know what, but I like.
Fergie drops her new music video, "M.I.L.F.$," just in time for the holiday weekend. And just like the July 4th festivities, this one's pretty hot.
The video is the stuff of 80s sexy rocker vids, but with a lot more style and polish. The song has a killer beat and, per usual for Miss Fergie, catchy chorus.
Taking inspiration from the ‘50s housewife aesthetic, the video finds its setting in “Milfville,” an idyllic neighborhood where moms are supermodels, the milkman belongs in a J.Crew catalogue and everybody seems dairy very intent on pouring milk all over their bodies. You know, typical mom stuff.
“Changing the acronym to Moms I’d Like To Follow is about empowering women who do it all,” Fergie said in a statement to Entertainment Weekly. “They have a career, a family, and still find the time to take care of themselves and feel sexy. With a wink of course :).”
Parlour Trick shares the rise and fall of grocery store escapades in the music video for their new song, "Broken Hearts/Bones."
Passion, sadness, anger and regret are all on display in this collective expression of humanity, including a real-life gay couple who find passion in the snacks aisle.
Singer Lily Cato explains how the storyline of the video came to be:
"A few months ago I was standing in the checkout line at the grocery store," she wrote back. "A very popular, very sad love song came on the radio. When it reached the bridge I suddenly became aware that everyone around me had started singing to themselves. Softly, but earnestly. There was a middle aged man, some teenagers, woman with a baby, dude with a motorcycle helmet under his arm, all of the women working the checkout counter. Everyone was singing and no one was acknowledging it. I had never seen anything like it.
"After the song ended the line shuffled forward, the next song came on, there were beeps from the scanners, the manager talking over the intercom. No one made eye contact. I might as well have dreamt it. I left feeling crazy; it was so funny, but also so moving. I had borne witness to a weirdly intimate, collective catharsis. All because that song came on the radio."
Multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen premieres the video for her new single “Your Type” today on Vevo.
Directed by filmmaker Gia Coppola, the video was shot at Los Candiles Night Club in Los Angeles.

Ruminating on the idea that everyone is lonely in life even if you have beauty, or money, or the spotlight.
Of course, I love that the video is set in my town of Las Vegas, AND there's a male stripper featured. In addition to others, we follow him on his way to work, watch him earn a pile of money being adored and objectified by women at a work.
But when he returns home, it's just him, the cash and his puppy.

From Lambert on the approach to the video: "When the lights turn off and the costumes get put away, many struggle with the feeling of loneliness. I wanted to paint a picture that wasn’t necessarily happy or sad, but showed the entire range in between."
I'm not so sure the song itself rises to the level of Lambert's first single from this project, "Ghost Town," which I loved, but his vocals are definitely on point.
I do like the direction and storytelling here, though. Director Luke Gilford takes his time leading us down lonesome lane.
Written and directed by “Twilight’s” Catherine Hardwicke, the video opens with a warning of its graphic content.
“I hope that this PSA, with its raw and truthful portrayals, will send a clear message that we need to support these courageous survivors and end this epidemic plaguing our college campuses,” Hardwicke said in a statement.
A portion of the song’s sale proceeds will be donated to organizations helping survivors of sexual assault.
Taylor Swift dropped her latest music video - "Wildest Dreams" - during last night's MTV VMA Awards, where she took home the Video of the Year award for “Bad Blood.”
