Piers Morgan Told To "F*ck Off" For Defending Donald Trump
I loved this on last night's Real Time with Bill Maher - Piers Morgan being told to fuck off after defending Donald Trump.
Bill Maher began by asking for an apology from all those folks who said "Hillary as lesser of two evils" now that we see the hot cup of crazy we have in the White House now.
After comedian Jim Jeffries told Morgan he was sucking up to Trump just because he won The Celebrity Apprentice and enjoys having a famous friend, Morgan called Jeffries ridiculous, unpleasant, and "losing his audience."
Check how the audience reacts when Jeffries asks the audience for their opinion. Here's a hint: not so great for Morgan.
In truth, most Americans had no idea who Piers Morgan was until his run on Celebrity Apprentice. He owes a lot of his U.S. fame to the Donald. No wonder he's so "loyal."

Chelsea Handler takes Piers Morgan down a peg
Chelsea Handler was in no mood to suffer fools lightly during a recent interview with soon to be cancelled Piers Morgan on CNN after he called her new book "tawdry."
Apparently, Piers likes to ignore his guests during commercial breaks and Tweet.
Here's how it went down:
PIERS: You tweet. Very amusingly.
CHELSEA: I wish you did.
PIERS: [pained laughter]
CHELSEA: I mean in the middle of the commercial break — I want your viewers to know; they must know, because they're probably following you on Twitter. I mean you can't even pay attention for 60 seconds. You're a terrible interviewer.
PIERS: Well you just weren't keeping my attention.
CHELSEA: That's not my problem.
PIERS: That is your problem!
CHELSEA: This is your show. You have to pay attention to the guests that you invited on your show.
PIERS: If they're interesting enough!
CHELSEA: Yeah, listen. It doesn't matter how interesting I am. You signed up for this job.
PIERS: Of course it does!
CHELSEA: Well, maybe that's why your job is coming to an end.
PIERS: Woooow.
CHELSEA: Wow.

Chris Evans genuinely dislikes icky conservative opinionator Ben Shapiro
Ben Shapiro has a big problem with Jason Collins being called a "hero."
Upon Jason Collins’ historic coming-out, Shapiro took to Twitter to decry the calls of heroism being lauded at the NBA center — a popular trend among straight white men who never had to come out as anything in their lives.
Piers Morgan took Shapiro to task on his CNN show for his insensitive comments, at which Shapiro accused the Piers of hating America by thinking that we’re all just a bunch of homophobes:
Shapiro: "Let me ask you something. Why do you hate America so much that you think this is such a homophobic country that when Jason Collins comes out it is the biggest deal in the history of humanity? President Obama has to personally call him to congratulate him."
Answers Morgan: "I think you might be homophobic simply because you said, why is Jason Collins a hero because he's gay? Why sneer at a guy for coming out when he's being courageous?"
Says Shapiro: "I'm Jewish. I wear a yarmulke on TV. There's a lot of anti-semitism... Being who you are in 2013 in America is what America is about. It is not heroic to be who you are publicly. I'm glad for Jason Collins if he feels that he's going to live a happier life now. But it does not make you a hero to be who you are."

I personally can't stand the sound of Shapiro's voice. It's like nails on a chalk board. To think people actually listen to him on the radio and such is difficult to fathom.
UPDATE: After the segment aired, super-star movie stud Chris Evans, who has a gay brother, tweeted this:

Zach Wahls speaks of the sanctity of marriage on Piers Morgan Show
I agree with everything Zach says here.
The conversation regarding marriage equality needs to be a respectful one so those who don't yet see this as a civil rights issue can still be open to a dialogue.
I also wholeheartedly agree that the First Amendment does guarantee freedom of religion but it also does not create a theocracy in America.
Many times you hear anti-gay folks say they don't want homosexuality shoved down their throats. BUT by trying to create laws that follow religious teachings and using the Bible as the primary foundation of their disapproval, those folks are going down the road of trying to make this country a theocracy. By definition, those people are "shoving" their views onto the LGBT community.
