About shooting the scene, Kwanten told TVLine:

'There was word on the street that a scene was coming, and to be honest, Alex and I had been — not necessarily begging to work together — but we’d been pondering the thought, “What if we were ever put in a scene where it was just the two of us? What would happen?” And this is what our illustrious writers came up with.'

He said the scene with Skarsgard took a few hours to film and both were in good spirits throughout.

'I always have a lot of fun, and I think that’s the important thing to remember,' he said. 'We’re just there to have fun and to stay true to the characters. Thinking back to this particular scene, I just remember Alex and I laughing a lot.'

Alexander Skarsgård strips down to underwear at the South Pole

Alexander Skarsgård posed alongside his "Walking with the Wounded" buddies wearing not much more than just underwear in during his South Pole expedition last December.

The new image (via EOnline), released late Thursday, shows just a bit more of what the group experienced during the 200km trek through the South Pole in the spirit of charity.

Back in December, you'll recall Walking With Wounded team guide Inge Solheim posted the photo below on Instagram:

While his siblings were seen sitting on a couch, the True Blood star popped in the back corner of the shot and flexed his famous muscles for the camera.

I always say "when you've got a Porsche, you don't keep it in the garage."

While chatting with Conan O'Brien last month he explained that he became accustomed to nudity while growing up in his less-than usual household.

"My dad and his side of the family are old hippies," he revealed. "I was 14 the first time I saw my dad wearing pants. He was always naked."
