Poll: 65% Of Americans Want Special Prosecutor To Investigate Trump/Russia Connections
According to the latest CNN/ORC poll, 65% of Americans would like to see a special prosecutor appointed to look into alleged contacts between Russian officials and President Trump's associates.
Other findings:
• Last week's speech to Congress didn't move the needle for the President: 49% of those polled say his policy proposals will move the nation in the right direction, which is just about the same as before the speech (48%).
• 53% of those polled say Trump's policy priorities do not match their own.
• Trump remains underwater on several key issues - Health care (53% disapprove), immigration (55% disapprove), foreign affairs (54% disapprove).
