As Donald Trump continues to sink in the presidential polls due to misfires on the campaign trail, Democrat Hillary Clinton called Trump's refusal to accept the outcome of the national election proof that he's a "sore loser."
"To say you won’t respect the results of the election, that is a direct threat to our democracy," Clinton told a rally at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. "The peaceful transfer of power is one of the things that makes America America."
"And look, some people are sore losers, and we just got to keep going," she added.
In preparation for a loss on election day, Trump has begun making calls of a "rigged election" a regular part of his stump speech even though there's no proof of any voter fraud.
Elections are run in a decentralized manner by the individual states. Considering the tens of millions of votes across 50 states, the majority of which are run by Republican governors and secretaries of state, it would be virtually impossible for widespread voter fraud to occur.
