A couple of weeks ago I featured hunky, shirtless Derek Yates who was apparently leading the race for "temp gardener" for Ellen while her "regular gardener Nick" was away shooting the Magic Mike XXL.
Looks like my instincts were right as Derek got the nod today as the new "gardener" today on ELLEN!
Who knows how long the gig will last now that filming for Magic Mike XXL is wrapped, but congrats to Derek!
