I am not pro or con for Rick Perry, but I am an American who believes in fair reporting. I had watched the 8 minute excerpts and The Daily Show, so I decided to join the other 300 or so folks who watched the ENTIRE Perry Cornerstone video. The entire speech video is at normal speed and his gestures are not bizarre as they appear in the SPEEDED UP version of the excerpts of his speech. He seems relaxed in the entire speech but he is not out of control. The man deserves for our reporters to at least watch the entire speech. Politics are so nasty that someone may have even added a little valium to his water, but his speech will not change my vote at all.
Thanks for posting Dianne. I love folks commenting and participating in open discussion here.
I also watched the full speech. See the full speech here: http://youtu.be/21z30aNO3cA
I personally don't see any difference in Mr. Perry's performance. I don't notice any "speed up" or distortion from the excerpts I posted.
However someone may want to characterize it, Mr. Perry's delivery and speech patterns were unusual or "giddy" or odd to me. Whether it's the "live free or die" comment, the tax proposal comment including the aside about Herman Cain, or others...
In my estimation, he seemed somewhat "off" in some way.
