As Trump Exits NATO Summit: "I'm A Very Stable Genius"

As he left the NATO summit in Brussels, Donald Trump told reporters "I'm very consistent. I'm a very stable genius."
Donald Trump holds press event as he departs NATO summit

Although he has not held a proper press conference in over a year on American soil, as Donald Trump departed the NATO summit in Brussels, he took questions from reporters for over half an hour.

Along the way he reiterated that Russian President Vladimir Putin is not an enemy, dismissed concerns of protests during his visit to Britain, and claimed the other NATO allies had agreed to up their defense spending thanks to his requests to do so.

At one point, a journalist asked, “We understand your message, but some people ask themselves, will you be tweeting differently once you board the Air Force One?”

Trump responded, “No, that’s other people that do that I don’t. I’m very consistent. I am a very stable genius.”

In front of the whole world. Jesus.

Poll: Americans Are Split On Whether Trump Is Mentally Stable Or Not

This surely isn't how Donald Trump envisioned beginning his second year in the White House.

A new poll from ABC News/Washington Post shows substanially more Americans give President Obama the credit for the ongoing positive economic situation.

Specifically, only 38% of those polled say today's economic conditions are a "great deal/good amount" a result of Trump's efforts,  while 50% say Obama gets the credit.

Additionally, the country is split on whether or not Trump is mentally stable - 48% say he is, 47% say no.

And though Trump tells us all he has "the best brain," 73% of Americans don't think he's a genius; a small 21% agree with the Trumpster on that one, though.

Donald Trump Attacks His Own Administration's Position On FISA, Then Flip-Flops Back

This morning, during Donald Trump's "Executive Time," the man who says he has no time to watch TV because he's reading "documents" was clearly watching a report on Fox News about a Congressional vote to reauthorize FISA, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

In a kneejerk reaction, Trump let the world know that he doesn't understand what the law does.

Note - FISA is used for the collection of foreign intelligence against a non-U.S. person overseas.

Moments after Fox's report aired, Trump shared this tweet:

The dossier he's referring to is the series of memos compiled by former MI6 British spy Christopher Steele, a Russian expert, for Fusion GPS.

It's important to note that, despite the Donald's protestations, much of it has been corroborated, and none of it has been officially debunked.

In any case, the problem with Trump's tweet is his administration actually SUPPORTS the reauthorization of the FISA Act.

So, flippity-flop, a short time later, Trump tried to get back on the right side of his own policy:

Remember folks, this is a self-proclaimed "very stable genius."

Justin V. Donald - "A Very Stable Genius"

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you - a "very stable genius."

Guess which one I'm talking about...

Trump Twitter Rant: I'm A "Very Stable Genius!"

Donald "Stable Genius" Trump
Hoo-boy! What a way to wake up on a Saturday morning!

As the new book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House got an early release yesterday due to Donald Trump's pumping up the interest in the explosive tome, folks began to focus on the book's passages relating to possible mental deficiencies.

The Trumpster clearly has had enough of that kind of talk. Taking to Twitter this morning, he wrote:

Now that Russian collusion, after one year of intense study, has proven to be a total hoax on the American public, the Democrats and their lapdogs, the Fake News Mainstream Media, are taking out the old Ronald Reagan playbook and screaming mental stability and intelligence.....Actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart. Crooked Hillary Clinton also played these cards very hard and, as everyone knows, went down in flames. I went from VERY successful businessman, to top T.V. Star.....to President of the United States (on my first try). I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius....and a very stable genius at that!

"StableGenius" immediately began trending on social media.

And the crowd goes wild:
