Ann Coulter: Donald Trump Is A "Shallow, Narcissistic Con Man"

The Palm Beach Post reports that during an event at the Kravis Center last night, conservative pundit Ann Coulter called Donald Trump "a shallow, narcissistic con man."

File this under "Infighting is funny."

Coulter turned on Trump after he moved to end the longest federal government shutdown in history without securing the funds to build his beloved U.S.-Mexico border wall.

Coulter also went after the 'lying media' as well at last night's event.

“Trump may be a shallow, narcissistic con man, but that doesn’t mean the media are not the enemy of the people. Both things can be true,” said Coulter.

The conservative author later added she hopes the legacy of the Trump administration would be the “total destruction of the lying media.”

Some news items you might have missed:

• NYC actor/singer Jim Newman (above) is giving you serious cowboy, which makes total sense as he's the "Cowboy" in a very famous disco band. Wanna guess which one? #SaveAHorse

• Legislation that would give same-sex couples the right to marry in Northern Ireland has advanced to a second reading.

• A father had his girlfriend rape his 11-year-old autistic son because he was afraid the boy was gay. Both father and girlfriend have been convicted and face life in prison. #LifeInPrisonSoundsRight

• We could see over 150 LGBTQ candidates in elections this fall as members of the tribe run for national, state and local office.

• Congress may be fixated on Facebook for data breach during 2016 election, but Donald Trump is apparently obsessed with Amazon. I'm sure it has nothing to do with Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos also owning The Washington Post.

• Speaking of Trump, it looks like the bloom is off the rose as far as former Trump fan Ann Coulter is concerned. She told an audience of college Republicans last night, “I knew he was a shallow, lazy ignoramus, and I didn’t care."

• With over $24 million in box office in two weeks, coming-of-age/coming-out film Love, Simon ranks in the Top 25 highest grossing teen romance movies of all time.

• Bonus Love, Simon: Keiynan Lonsdale, who plays one of the love interests in the hit gay teen comedy and came out as bisexual last year, just dropped a new queer love anthem, "Kiss the Boy."

The song will be included on an upcoming album from Lonsdale.

Conservatives Go Into Full Meltdown Mode Over Trump Signing $1.3 Trillion Spending Bill

Fox News host Sean Hannity

Conservative pundits lost their minds yesterday over the $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill Donald Trump signed into law.

Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter both had their own public meltdowns.

Hannity took to the air blaming Republicans for the bill:

“I personally wish the President vetoed this bill, made them stay in Washington. Make them keep their promises. What happened to the Republican party––whatever happened to the party that believed in fiscal responsibility? We now need a revitalized second party, Republican party. They need to go back to their core principles. If they don’t by November, they will have nobody to blame but themselves if they lose. It won’t be Donald Trump’s fault.”

And Coulter personally trolled Trump saying he will be impeached before another spending bill comes up.

In fighting is funny.

Ann Coulter Is REALLY Disappointed In Donald Trump

Donald Trump's recent statements saying he's working with Democratic leaders Sen. Chuck Schumer and Rep. Nancy Pelosi on developing legislation that would enshrine the DACA program into law are not sitting well with ex-Trumpster Ann Coulter.

Tweet Of The Day: Anna Navarro

After the hideous far-right politcal pundit Ann Coulter was moved from one seat to another on a Delta Airlines flight this weekend, she went on a Twitter tirade.

Lots of response from the Twitterverse, but CNN's Anna Navarro has to be the best (above).

Here's a bit more:

Ann Coulter: If Trump "Softens" On Immigration That Could Mean End Of My Book Tour

Right-wing nut Ann Coulter is out promoting her newly minted pro-Donald Trump book, In Trump We Trust, but says the book tour could end if Trump really does "soften" his proposed immigration policies.

Mediaite recaps:

Coulter appeared on MSNBC’s Hardball Tuesday evening, where Chris Matthews asked her to weigh in on recent remarks from Trump in which he admitted that he was considering “softening” his policies on immigration. “We’re not looking to hurt people,” Trump had said.

Coulter said Trump’s comments “sounded very consultant to me,” adding, “This could be the shortest book tour ever if he’s really softening his position on immigration.” Her latest book is entitled In Trump We Trust.

“I don’t think he is” softening, she added. “I think this is a mistake. It sounds like it’s coming from consultants,” she said. “I’ve thought he’s made other mistakes, and I’ve given him constructive criticism when I think he makes a mistake. I think this is a mistake.”

Even as Coulter was speaking those words to Chris Matthews, the Donald was telling Sean Hannity of Fox News that "softening" is exactly what he plans to do.

Some news stories you may have missed:

• Kayne Lawton posted something about food on his Instagram, but... there's food in the pic?

• There's yet another sexual harassment lawsuit filed against former Fox News boss Roger Ailes.

• Right-wing nutjob Ann Coulter says if Hillary Clinton wins the presidency, there will never be another Republican president. I'm not seeing the problem here...

• GOP presidential candidate flew to Louisiana for a photo op during which he spent exactly 49 seconds "helping" the people affected by disastrous flooding, and gave a $100K donation to the church of virulently anti-LGBT Tony Perkins.

• Homocon and Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos raised between $100-250K for scholarships for "white men" but in almost a year none of the money has been distributed as the cash sits in Yiannopoulos' bank account.

• Speaking of Milo, Trump supporters have begun to defend accusations of racism by saying "We can't be racist because Milo is gay." Feel free to explain that cognitive dissonance.

• Melania Trump is suing the Daily Mail and other outlets for insinuating she was an "escort" in the 1990s.

• A federal judge has ordered the release of another 15,000 emails from Hillary Clinton's email server over the course of four dates in October.

• The man who wrote the Republican National Convention speech for Pat Smith, whose son was killed in the Benghazi attacks, now says he will probably be voting for Hillary Clinton.

• Check out the one and only Cher introducing Hillary Clinton at a fundraiser in Provincetown this past weekend.

Ann Coulter On Mike Pence Veep Pick: "Pence Is The Combo-Platter Of Disaster"

Ann Coulter has heard the rumors that Indiana Gov. Mike Pence will soon be Donald Trump's pick for running mate, and she's going apoplectic over the idea.

From her Facebook page:

Report: Trump about to make first mistake in VP pick, as predicted by Ann Coulter, July 6, 2016

MY VP PREDICTION: TRUMP'S FIRST MISTAKE

I won't believe it, until I hear it from the Trump's mouth.

Pence is the combo-platter of disaster. He’s all in for corporate America bringing in as many guest workers as they please to replace American workers, tried to sell the monster amnesty as a "compromise bill." (How about this compromise: We start with a wall...)

He also somehow managed to tick off both sides in gay marriage debate. After his state passed a law passed protecting Christians from having to participate in gay marriages, all hell broke loose. Pence thought to himself: 'I have semi heading for me. Should I just stand here? Yes, I think I’ll just stand here!' First, he allowed himself to be portrayed as a right-wing homophobic nut and then -- just days later -- he sold out to the left-wing activists, anyway.

Dan Savage Explains Anti-Transgender Laws To Ann Coulter

Last night on HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher, author/radio host Dan Savage spoke truth to the current spate of anti-transgender laws popping up in state legislatures now - much to Ann Coulter's chagrin.

This is how Savage put a point on it:

“They couldn’t demagogue anymore about gays and lesbians because too many of us are out and too many people know us so they took the same old script – oh they’re recruiting children, preying on children, threatening children, creeping in bathrooms. That was what they said about gay men 40 years ago.

"And they’re just taking that now and applying that to trans women and it’s bullsh*t and trans women and men use bathrooms all over the country and have for-ever. And they have no cases to point to where a trans person has exploited a civil rights protection to prey on a child.”

So glad to finally see someone lay that fact out there. Go Dan!

Ann Coulter Goes 'Birther' On Ted Cruz

It looks like right-wing loon Ann Coulter went "full birther" today when she took to Twitter to question whether Sen. Ted Cruz is eligible to run for president due to his being born in Canada.

This is a big u-turn for Coulter who as recently as 2013 said that Cruz was, in fact, a "natural born" citizen of the United States, and thus eligible.

In 2009, she called the 'birther' movement an "embarrassment" to the Republican party.

See her tweet from 2013 below:

Ann Coulter Tweets About "F*cking Jews" During Second GOP Debate

Last night during the second GOP debate, anti-everything author Ann Coulter got even more batshit crazy by going anti-Semetic on her Twitter:

Of course, response from the Twitterverse was swift and to the point. Folks from all over the spectrum weighed in on her hideous comments.

Here's just one response, this one from actor Seth Rogen:

Ann Coulter: "Women Should Not Have The Right To Vote"

On the radio show “Free Speech” with Gavin McInnes, the Republican party's favorite blonde, Ann Coulter, shared her disdain for women and immigrants.

Referencing Ted Kennedy's Immigration Act of 1965, Coulter declared that changed the demographics of the United States in favor of Democrats, which she claims was the goal of the legislation all along.

Via Right Wing Watch:
According to Coulter, “Obama never would have been elected, I mean certainly wouldn’t have been reelected – Romney won bigger against, I mean, if the demographics of this country had not changed so dramatically because of immigration, Romney would have won a bigger landslide than Reagan did against Carter in 1980.”

McInnes, also brought up women voters, prompting Coulter to share her position that “women should not have the right to vote.” She continued that while women should not vote, “We can still write books! We can run for office.”

“You just can’t vote,” McInnes reiterated.

This is not the first time Coulter voiced her support for female disenfranchisement. In 2007, Coulter said that “If we took away women’s right to vote, we’d never have to worry about another Democrat [sic] president.” Coulter described this as a “pipe dream” and a “personal fantasy” of hers that women, especially the single women who “are voting so stupidly,” will finally be silenced.

Ironically, McInnes is a Canadian immigrant to the US himself. I guess he gives himself a pass.

Mark Cuban & Ann Coulter Cast As Prez/Vice-Prez In "Sharknado 3"

Please tell me this means we get to see them eaten by sharks and Ian Ziering becomes President!

Via Deadline:

Mark Cuban (Shark Tank) has been cast as President of the United States and political commentator/author Ann Coulter will assume the duties of Vice President in Syfy/The Asylum’s Sharknado 3. The latest installment of the pop culture phenomenon will cause mass destruction in Washington, D.C. before roaring down the Eastern Seaboard and into Florida. It will premiere on Syfy in July.

Previously announced cameos in Sharknado 3 include Bo Derek as May, the mother of April (Reid); Jerry Springer, appearing as Mr. White, a manic tourist; *NSYNC singer Chris Kirkpatrick as a pool lifeguard; and Chris Jericho, as Bruce the roller coaster ride operator.

The "Sharknado" movie series has become a huge money-maker for Syfy. When the sequel - Sharknado 2: The Second One - aired last summer, it became the most-watched original movie in the network's history.

An enormous part of the appeal of the films is the over-the-top/tongue-in-cheek humor played throughout the sci-fi film.

Another huge asset is the action hero studliness of leading man Ian Ziering. Like a fine wine, Ziering has aged very, very well. Take a look below from his appearances in Las Vegas as the Chippendales special celebrity host.

Yeah, that sells tickets... :)

Ann Coulter on Bill Maher - November 1, 2013

Ann Coulter made an appearance last night on Bill Maher's REAL TIME on HBO hawking her latest book.

It is kind of amazing to grasp that Bill Maher really IS friends with Ann Coulter.

While I, of course, disagree with her on every issue, she's become more a that "carnival/side-show" kind of thing to me now. Like Sarah Palin, no one really takes her seriously and we watch just to see how outrageous she's going to be this time.

Kind of fascinating in a weird, "through the looking-glass" way.

Ann Coulter booed - again - for "Liberals want to destroy the family" comment

Mediaite is reporting on the boos and jeers the ever glum Ann Coulter received at the International Students for Liberty Conference in Washington, D.C. during a taping of Stossel for Fox Business Network.

Stossel then asked: “Why can’t gays get married?”

“Well, they can,” Coulter replied. “They have to marry a member of the opposite sex.” The room filled with boos.

“This is another one where you’re just sucking up to liberals when there are big fights,” Coulter explained.

“No, we believe the individual should be left alone,” Stossel shot back.

“Marriage is the most important institution to civilize young people. I’d make divorce a lot more difficult,” she said. “Liberals want to destroy the family,” she continued, eliciting jeers and mocking laughter from the students.

John Franklin Stephens schools Ann Coulter on class

Monday night, the above tweet from Ann Coulter got a lot of attention as she tweeted about the 3rd Presidential debate.  I thought it was tasteless and rude.

My brother has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  So, as someone who loves someone who faces difficulties every day many of us can never begin to imagine, I was offended.  And I made the decision to give the hideous author of the tweet no coverage.

THEN - I read this very moving and powerful letter from Special Olympics athlete and global messenger John Franklin Stephens to Ann Coulter aboout her tweet during the Presidential debate.

THIS is class.

*********************************************************

Dear Ann Coulter,

Come on Ms. Coulter, you aren’t dumb and you aren’t shallow. So why are you continually using a word like the R-word as an insult?

I’m a 30 year old man with Down syndrome who has struggled with the public’s perception that an intellectual disability means that I am dumb and shallow. I am not either of those things, but I do process information more slowly than the rest of you. In fact it has taken me all day to figure out how to respond to your use of the R-word last night.

I thought first of asking whether you meant to describe the President as someone who was bullied as a child by people like you, but rose above it to find a way to succeed in life as many of my fellow Special Olympians have.

Then I wondered if you meant to describe him as someone who has to struggle to be thoughtful about everything he says, as everyone else races from one snarkey sound bite to the next.

Finally, I wondered if you meant to degrade him as someone who is likely to receive bad health care, live in low grade housing with very little income and still manages to see life as a wonderful gift.

Because, Ms. Coulter, that is who we are – and much, much more.

After I saw your tweet, I realized you just wanted to belittle the President by linking him to people like me. You assumed that people would understand and accept that being linked to someone like me is an insult and you assumed you could get away with it and still appear on TV.

I have to wonder if you considered other hateful words but recoiled from the backlash.

Well, Ms. Coulter, you, and society, need to learn that being compared to people like me should be considered a badge of honor.

No one overcomes more than we do and still loves life so much.

Come join us someday at Special Olympics. See if you can walk away with your heart unchanged.

A friend you haven’t made yet,
John Franklin Stephens

Ann Coulter says gay rights are not civil rights

This woman's voice makes my eyes bleed.

Somehow, a woman who is smart enough to get a book deal and smart enough to get paid to speak in different places thinks "civil rights" can only apply to black people because "we owe them."

The simple fact of the matter is: civil rights are any rights afforded by a civil government. And the LGBT stance is if other people have those rights - WE are deserving of those rights. Not special rights - equal rights.

How this woman can not understand this simple concept, I don't know...

Pardon me as I wipe my bleeding eyes.
