Bravo TV host Andy Cohen received some serious flack for his co-hosting appearance on CNN’s New Year’s Eve coverage with Anderson Cooper.

Here's just a sample:

Now, I’ll admit Cohen isn’t my cup of tea, either. I find him to be a bit self-serving, self-satisfied and smug most of the time. Pretty much the opposite of BDE.

But, I will say I love a good come-back on social media. And it turns out Mr. Cohen isn’t shy about firing off some sassy slap backs.

So just to add a little balance here on Instinct, here’s a few of Andy Cohen’s more tasty retorts.

First up, actor and right-wing loon James Woods (who has his own rather troublesome dating issues) criticized Cohen and Cooper for the way they handled some celebratory on-air shots.

Andy Cohen Serves As Tel Aviv's "International Ambassador" For Pride 2018

Today, a quarter of a million people from around the world gathered in Tel Aviv today to march in the largest ever pride parade in the Middle East where Bravo’s Andy Cohen served as this year’s International Ambassador.

Andy Cohen told the media:

"I live in New York City and this is my first but definitely not my last time in Tel Aviv. I am a proud gay Jewish man and the only gay host in late night TV. I have been struck by how incredible it is, not only to be here, but as a proud gay Jewish man surrounded by my people."

"It's also an amazing thing seeing gay pride flags flying everywhere next to the flag of Israel."

"Celebrating Pride in Tel Aviv is a beautiful celebration of gay rights and visibility in a region where many of the neighbors cannot live as their true selves or be who they were born to be, which makes it all the more special for this massive coming together in support of equality to be taking place in Tel Aviv."

This year’s parade marked 20 years to the City’s first pride parade and payed tribute to the pioneering activists who played a key-role in promoting LGBT rights and visibility in Israel.

• Platinum-selling recording artist BØRNS releases his latest track, “God Save Our Young Blood feat. Lana Del Rey,” ahead of his sophomore album Blue Madonna which is set for release on January 12, 2018.

Kathy Griffin's 17-Minute Rant On TMZ's Harvey Levin & Bravo's Andy Cohen

If you are into celebrity feuds, you may be interested in this video posted by Kathy Griffin who is apparently persona non grata everywhere after her "beheaded Trump" schtick some months ago.

Over 17 minutes, Griffin gets around to trashing Harvey Levin of TMZ, Jeff Zucker of CNN, Andy Cohen of Bravo and more.

Colton Haynes Shares Losing His Virginity At 13 Plus His Hollywood "Tab Hunter" Situation

Speaking to Andy Cohen on SiriusXM's "Radio Andy," Arrow/Teen Wolf star Colton Haynes candidly shared personal details about his dating life including losing his virginity at the age of 13 to both a girl and a guy, albeit separately, and being set up on fake dates in Hollywood to hide his sexuality.

• “I lost my virginity at 13 to a girl and a guy. I’ve never said that before. The girl was two years older than me, and the guy was, I would say, around 16. Everyone participated. It was a real first time. It was exciting.”

• “I was literally told from the day that I moved to Los Angeles that I could not be gay because I wouldn’t work. Then I was with my management team and a team of people that just literally told me I couldn’t be this way. They tried to set me up with girls. I was rumored to date Lauren Conrad (of The Hills) for six months because they were kind of angling a story. And then I dated every other young person which of course I didn’t date.”

Haynes said his "dates" all understood what was going on. “They knew the whole time. It was like a Tab Hunter situation.”

Andy Cohen On Being The Only Openly Gay Late Night Talk Show Host

In an interview with Mic, Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen is asked about his experience with LGBT media. Apparently, Andy reads the Comments sections...

I think they've been fine. Any time there's ever been an article about me on any gay sites the comments are always just the meanest you can imagine... but that might be par for the course. I'm proud to be the only openly gay late-night talk show host.

I'm now going into my eighth year of this so whether gay people like that or they don't like it, I do know that there are young gay men across the country who maybe come to my book signings or have dinner with my mom and say "it's touched me that I've been able to see a gay guy in late night." So ultimately I can't get too invested in what the comments say or what the gay media says because if there can be kids watching and thinking "oh wow, look, that guy is gay and he has this show and everything seems okay with him" then that should be the important thing.

Cohen also defended the diversity (or lack thereof) in Logo's upcoming Fire Island reality TV show:

If it were the only show about gay people on television then maybe that would be a topic of conversation, but we live in 2017, and there are gay people of every shape and size on many different shows. Have you ever been to Fire Island? It's pretty white and chiseled. That's what it largely looks like there. If we went somewhere else, it would probably look different. I think we should be happy with having another representation of ourselves on television. Maybe people should look at the how before they start protesting it.
