"Starbucks Hates Christmas" Guy Crashes And Burns On CNN

A crazy dude named Josh Feuerstein was invited onto CNN after his weekend, online rant about Starbucks waging a "war on Christmas" because they decided to go with a solid red cup this holiday season.

Apparently he was greatly offended by their lack of Jesus, presumably because as we all know, Jesus would have totally been a Starbucks kinda guy.

You'll note how, after making his ludicrous accusations including an "Obama is not a Christian" dig, he suddenly can't hear radio host Pete Dominick crush his crazy theories.

By the way - if you're worried about putting the "Christ" in "Christmas" - get out and help the homeless and hungry. Don't tell me about a dumb red cup. If a coffee cup defines Christmas for you, you've already missed the point.

Nebraska: Judge Dismisses Lawsuit Against "All Homosexuals"

Sylvia Driskell's handwritten lawsuit

Last week, Sylvia Driskell from Auburn, Nebraska filed a lawsuit against all homosexuals - ALL of us - asking the court to decide whether homosexuality is a sin.

Judge John Gerrad does not suffer fools lightly, and has dismissed the case in a strongly worded opinion.

From Omaha.com:

Gerrard said Driskell lacked subject matter jurisdiction and cannot sue a class of unidentified defendants. Driskell did not set forth a factual or legal basis for a federal claim.

"The United States Federal Courts were created to resolve actual cases and controversies arising under the Constitution and the laws of the United States," Judge Gerrard said. "A federal court is not a forum for debate or discourse on theological matters."

Gerrard declined to allow Driskell an opportunity to amend her complaint.

Rush Limbaugh: I never called for Obama's impeachment (except when I did three weeks ago)

Rush Limbaugh is complaining that he has never called for President Obama's impeachment, and CNN is unfairly lumping him in with other right wing lunatics who have.

From Media Matters:

On the July 15 edition of CNN's CNN Tonight, senior Washington correspondent Joe Johns highlighted Rush Limbaugh's attacks against President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder, likening his "combative tone" to Sarah Palin's call for impeachment.

Limbaugh responded on the July 16 edition of his radio show, insisting that the news segment unfairly lumped him in to an extreme group, saying "I haven't spoken in favor of impeachment," and "I never talked about [Obama] being born in Kenya":

Except, he TOTALLY did. Take a listen to a clip from Rush's June 24th show:

GQ Magazine upsets the tea people

The tea-baggers think this means GQ is calling them racists.

Let's think on that, shall we?  Who watches Fox News?

There.  That wasn't hard.

Bravo, GQ.

GOP primary winner in Illinois believes God sends tornadoes and autism to punish US for same-sex marriage

After yesterday's primaries in Illinois,  one of the more interesting "winners" seems to be Republican Susanne Atanus in the 9th Congressional District.

This was Atanus' third run in the GOP primary. She lost in 2010 and was removed in 2012 when it was discovered she didn't have enough signatures to qualify for the ballot.

Just some of the "interesting" things Atanus has said:

• Atanus says she believes God controls the weather and has put tornadoes and diseases such as autism and dementia on earth as in response to gay rights and legalized abortions. "God is angry. We are provoking him with abortions and same-sex marriage and civil unions," she said.

• Atanus says same-sex activity in the military will weaken our armed forces because AIDS.

• Atanus would abolish the major stock indexes including the S&P, Dow Jones and Nasdaq to improve the nation's fiscal troubles.

Atanus will face eight term Democratic Rep. Jan Schakowsky, whose district hasn't elected a Republican to the House in 66 years.

Atanus' primary opponent, David Earl Williams III, is apparently so incredulous that Atanus beat him that he alleged on his Facebook page that Schakowsky urged her supporters to cross party lines and vote for Atanus.

“What is wrong Jan, are you afraid of a real challenge?” Williams said. “It seems like our favorite Congresscritter can’t handle a true fighter on your side.”
