RuPaul Talk Show Gets 3-Week Test Run On FOX

RuPaul Charles' new talk show, RuPaul, is getting a three-week test run this summer.

Described as entertaining and heartfelt, the show will feature Charles’ modern take on the talk format. He will showcase his aspirational message with celebrity and newsmaker interviews, along with empowering everyday people to become their best selves. His sense of beauty, make-up and style will make the runway work for everyone.

“Now more than ever before we need a global voice that will help everyday people navigate this unique time in history,” said Charles. “Not only do I want to be a part of that conversation, I want to help facilitate it.”

The new talk show will debut June 10 and will air Monday through Friday on select Fox TV stations, including WNYW in New York and KTTV in Los Angeles.

LATV Network - the original national, bicultural television network - is making history as it launches its new, groundbreaking weekly talkshow, Glitterbomb, set to premiere this fall.

According to press materials, Glitterbomb is “an explosive pop-culture talk show hosted by an entirely gay, Latino, Hollywood-insider panel featuring "Entertainment Weekly" senior editor Patrick Gomez, actor Enrique Sapene and iHeartRadio personality Alexander Rodriguez."

Combining experience from the worlds of radio, acting and journalism, the English-language show will offer insight into A-lister life from a decidedly queer Latino perspective.

With a festive and unique flavor, the show promises no subject will be too hot to handle and no scandal too spicy to dig into.

Produced at LATV’s state-of-the-art HD studios in Los Angeles, Glitterbomb plans to offer the latest in pop culture news and trends; insider looks at the latest celebrity hot spots and events; as well as some of the biggest names in entertainment.

“We could not be happier that LATV has given three gay Latinos a platform as big as Glitterbomb,” co-hosts Gomez, Rodriguez, and Sapene say in a joint statement. “But we hope that people of all races, genders, and orientations will see a bit of themselves in our show — or, at the very least, have a good time watching it!”

LATV is the only remaining Latino-owned TV network in the Hispanic television space. Its programming primarily targets U.S.-born Latinos and the coveted bicultural 18-49 Latino demographic, with content that features originally-produced shows in Los Angeles, as well as licensed content that has never before been seen in the U.S.

Anderson Cooper cuts Botox Mother's interview short

Anderson Cooper was talking to a mother on the "Human Barbie" episode who helps her daughter administer Botox so she doesn't sweat. There was discussion of Beyoncé sweating or not — as if the diva was a defense.

But Anderson was having none of it. He paused, looked at the woman and said "I try to be polite to all of my guests, but I think you're dreadful. And I honestly don't want to talk to you anymore," the talk show host said.

And that was that.
