Kathy Griffin's 17-Minute Rant On TMZ's Harvey Levin & Bravo's Andy Cohen

If you are into celebrity feuds, you may be interested in this video posted by Kathy Griffin who is apparently persona non grata everywhere after her "beheaded Trump" schtick some months ago.

Over 17 minutes, Griffin gets around to trashing Harvey Levin of TMZ, Jeff Zucker of CNN, Andy Cohen of Bravo and more.

Watch below as it's currently trending all over the interwebs.

And all the while, Andy Cohen (who has replaced Griffin for CNN's New Year's Eve broadcast) played dumb during an airport interview saying he didn't know who Kathy Griffin is.

(He was the Bravo executive who oversaw her show My Life On The D-List).

WH Comm Director Goes On Unhinged Rant: "Reince Priebus Is A F*cking Paranoid Schizophrenic"

Wow.

Ryan Lizza of The New Yorker got a phone call last night from newly-installed White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci who was all worked up that Lizza had tweeted about a dinner between Scaramucci, Donald Trump, and Fox News personality Sean Hannity.

Scaramucci demanded Lizza tell him who leaked the info.

Lizza reported the conversation today, and whoo-boy...

Here's an excerpt. Clearly, Scaramucci doesn't know the phrase "off the record."

I asked him why it was so important for the dinner to be kept a secret. Surely, I said, it would become public at some point. “I’ve asked people not to leak things for a period of time and give me a honeymoon period,” he said. “They won’t do it.” He was getting more and more worked up, and he eventually convinced himself that Priebus was my source.

“They’ll all be fired by me,” he said. “I fired one guy the other day. I have three to four people I’ll fire tomorrow. I’ll get to the person who leaked that to you. Reince Priebus—if you want to leak something—he’ll be asked to resign very shortly.” The issue, he said, was that he believed Priebus had been worried about the dinner because he hadn’t been invited.

“Reince is a fucking paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac,” Scaramucci said. He channeled Priebus as he spoke: “ ‘Oh, Bill Shine is coming in. Let me leak the fucking thing and see if I can cock-block these people the way I cock-blocked Scaramucci for six months.’ ” (Priebus did not respond to a request for comment.)

Scaramucci also told me that, unlike other senior officials, he had no interest in media attention. “I’m not Steve Bannon, I’m not trying to suck my own cock,” he said, speaking of Trump’s chief strategist. “I’m not trying to build my own brand off the fucking strength of the President. I’m here to serve the country.” (Bannon declined to comment.)

First of all, a "communications director" talks like that to the press?

Second, I'm guessing Lizza won't be getting many more phone calls from the "Mooch."

And finally, this is all kinda funny when you know how mild-mannered Ryan Lizza is. Picturing him on the end of this phone call makes me laugh.

And, one last tweet from the "Mooch" himself:

Trump Supporter Goes On Expletive Laced Rant On MSNBC

Check this UNEDITED incident that happened last night in front of Trump Tower in New York City.

Cal Perry, senior news editor for MSNBC, was in the middle of an interview with a Trump protester when an unidentified Trump supporter interrupted and began a expletive-laced rant at the reporter and the media in general.

“You don’t include the fact that we have an awesome, an awesome president now who took a step down from unappreciative motherf—–s,” the woman yelled.

Perry took the rant in stride letting her have her say. When he asked her name for identification she said, “You’re not getting my name, you’re getting a f— you."

Congressional Candidate Dan Bongino's Epic Curse-Laden Tirade Against Reporter

Politico reporter Marc Caputo was following a story via Twitter where Congressional candidate and former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino had attacked the Naples Daily News for what he called "propaganda" in a story the paper had published about him.

Caputo atempted to clarify, via Twitter, exactly what Bongino felt was "propaganda" in the article.

From Politico:

The newspaper had reported Sunday that Bongino was "lacking" financial backing from the district, noting that only 6 percent of itemized donations came from Collier and Lee counties. Citing Federal Election Commission records, it also reported that he raised "a disproportionate amount of his money from donations of less than $200."

Bongino asked Caputo to call him and, after a long back and forth of exchanges on Twitter, he gave his telephone number after being told the conversation would be recorded. Bongino later hung up after losing his temper and shouting “shut the fuck up! … Go fuck yourself, you piece of shit!”

The full, recorded conversation is below. While the 17 minute length might seem long for casual web surfing, I found it highly enlightening that a candidate for Congress would act out in this manner speaking to the press, especially when Caputo had expressly communicated that he was going to be recording the conversation.

Some of Bongino's comments are captured for closed-captioning. I've included a few screen captures of the actual recording.

Greta Van Susteren: Put Harriet Tubman On The $25 Bill

Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren closed her show last night with an off-pitch rant regarding the news that 'Underground Railroad' hero, Harriet Tubman, will be replacing slave-owner President Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill.

Van Susteren said the Obama administration "went stupid" and was dividing the country with a "completely unnecessary fight," closing with this:

“Give Tubman her own bill. Like a $25 bill. We could use a $25 bill. Put her picture on that and we could all celebrate. That’s the smart and easy thing to do. But no, some people don’t think and would gratuitously stir up conflict in the nation. That is so awful, and yes, dumb.”

"Jalapeno Mac & Cheese" Brat Charged After Drunken Rant

Talk about a serving of justice served cold.

From Huffington Post:

Luke Gatti, 19, of Bayville, New York, was charged with breach of peace and criminal trespass, the Hartford Courant reported.

In a viral YouTube video of the incident, titled "Drunk Kid Wants Mac And Cheese," Gatti can be seen telling the manager of Union Street Market, "Just give me some f--king bacon, jalepeno mac and cheese" and verbally abusing him. The manager tells the student, "You can't come in here with an open bottle of booze, dude. Think about it!"

Kevin Swanson's Epic Rant At The "Death To Gays" Conference In Iowa

Kevin Swanson
Over the weekend, Kevin Swanson hosted Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, and Bobby Jindal at the National Religious Liberties Conference in Des Moines, Iowa.

While Swanson has made some pretty insane remarks in the past, this speech verges on performance art. To call this a 'meltdown' would be polite.

Check this speech Swanson gave at the conference after interviewing Huckabee and Jindal.

Swanson screams:
“There are families, we’re talking Christian families, pastors’ families, elders’ families from good, godly churches, whose sons are rebelling, hanging out with homosexuals and getting married and the parents are invited. What would you do if that was the case? Here is what I would do: sackcloth and ashes at the entrance to the church and I’d sit in cow manure and I’d spread it all over my body. That is what I would do and I’m not kidding, I’m not laughing….I’m grieving, I’m mourning, I’m pointing out the problem.

“It’s not a gay time! These are the people with the sores! The gaping sores! The sores that are pussey and gross, and people are coming in and carving happy faces on the sores! That’s not a nice thing to do! Don’t you DARE carve happy faces on open pussey sores! Don’t you ever do that! Don’t you ever do that!

“I tell you don’t do it. Sack cloth and ashes. This is what America needs. America needs to hear the message. We are messed up.
Swanson has often underlined his stone-cold belief that the Old and New Testaments call for the death penalty for gays and lesbians. Not as a metaphor, but literally the execution of folks like me.

And what's really frightening is Ted Cruz, Bobby Jindal and Mike Huckabee were proud to speak at this man's event.

Watch the wild rant below.

Donald Trump Picks A Fight On CNN Over Network's "Incompetent" Coverage

Donald Trump, speaking with CNN's Chris Cuomo this morning, had a virtual meltdown over his media coverage as he sees his poll numbers dropping to number two as Dr. Ben Carson's numbers rise.

From The Hill:

Moments into his more than 20-minute interview on CNN's "New Day," Trump offered a broadside against a CNN reporter who covered his book signing in New York the previous day.

"Sara Murray didn't report it very well because she never flips the camera to show the lines. I think she's absolutely terrible, your reporter," Trump told host Chris Cuomo.

"Either she's a very unemotional person or she's not a very good reporter," Trump continued, adding later, "Maybe she's a low-key individual and doesn't believe in showing the crowds."

"I don't know if that's because she is incompetent, or she doesn't like me or maybe she's given instructions from up above. Who knows. I don't really care," Trump said.

Donald Trump Goes Off On Fox News - AGAIN

White House wanna-be Donald Trump took to Twitter to complain about what he felt was unfair treatment on that liberal bastion of political news, The O'Reilly Factor.

Bill O'Reilly, appearing on The Today Show this morning told Matt Lauer, “I’ve known Trump a long time. He wants people to like him. When people criticize him, he takes it personally.”

“That’s like the worst thing you can give Donald Trump is this tweeting thing,” he said. “I just think this is an extension of his reality show, The Apprentice. This is just theater right now.”

Church Denounces Pastor Dewey Smith's Sermon Regarding Same-Sex Marriage

According to Christian Post, last the viral video of Pastor E. Dewey Smith vigorously denouncing those who would judge LGBTs over same-sex marriage was never meant to imply the church nor the pastor supports same-sex marriage.

That clip was posted without our knowledge by someone who was in attendance and gives absolutely no context concerning the overall message.

Since that time enumerable media outlets have posted the clip with captions best suited for their journalistic and editorial priorities.

It's important to know that the descriptions of the posted sermon clip are not the opinions of E. Dewey Smith Jr.

By no means is Smith now, nor has he ever been a proponent of same-sex marriage. Smith has always believed and taught that marriage is only designed for a man and a woman.

This reality was clearly stated during the sermon but not included for some reason by the person who posted the clip. Smith believes that same-sex marriage isn't the Will of God.

Many publications have tried to present the message as affirmation of equal rights for the LGBT community. Regardless of how the clip is 'bent' that was not the content nor intent of the message.

You can view the video of the now-famous rant here.

NYPD Detective Stripped Of Badge And Gun After Angry Rant Captured On Video

NYPD detective Patrick Cherry

Yesterday, I wrote about a New York Police Department detective who went bonkers on an Uber driver who honked his horn while the detective was trying to park his car.

The NYPD has been swift to act after the video of the rant went viral.

Detective Patrick Cherry has been removed from the department’s elite Joint Terrorism Task Force and will be doing desk duty until he is officially transferred out of the prestigious division.

“No good cop should watch that video without a wince,” Commissioner Bill Bratton said at a Wednesday press conference. “Because all good cops know that officer just made their jobs a little bit harder.”

“In that kind of encounter, anger like that is unacceptable,” Bratton continued. “In any encounter, discourtesy and obscene language like that is unacceptable.

“That officer’s behavior reflected poorly on everyone who wears our uniform.”

Glenn Beck is confused about a LOT of things

Glenn Beck, in one of his typical wide-ranging rants, is mad and confused about many things.

First, he gets confused saying Mozilla CEO Branden Eich was forced to step down by major LGBT advocacy groups. The fact is no major LGBT group publicly called for a boycott of Mozilla or made public statements asking for Eich's resignation.

As JoeMyGod put it, "An important thing to keep in mind about the resignation of Brendan Eich is that none of the major LGBT rights groups had called for him to be removed or for a boycott of Mozilla. This was pretty much entirely an internet grassroots thing. The loudest voice in the boycott campaign was OKCupid, whose parent company is headed by Barry Diller - a billionaire heterosexual. GLAAD did issue a one sentence statement AFTER Eich resigned. Funny how nobody is calling Barry Diller a member of the "gaystapo.""

Today, according to Firefox's Twitter account, Eich was not "forced" out - he chose to step down.

Second, Beck goes into a strange diatribe asking what word is currently acceptable to call gays - Gay? Queer? Homosexual?  He then complains that the gays "keep changing the rules" as a means to "terrorizing" those who would oppose equal rights for all.

With the camera spinning around him and his wild questions, it's quite the "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride."

I have to wonder who gets into these kinds of paranoid screeds?

CM Punk's Grammar Slam - Literally vs Figuratively

One of my own personal pet peeves...

Love this series of rants. Take a look at more by CM Punk at The Nerdist.
