With the ongoing political turmoil happening in Virginia as Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam, Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax and Attorney General Mark Herring each deal with allegations of past racist or misogynist behavior, Donald Trump took to Twitter today to say if these were Republicans 'far stronger action would be taken' against their own.

Democrats at the top are killing the Great State of Virginia. If the three failing pols were Republicans, far stronger action would be taken. Virginia will come back HOME Republican) in 2020!

Trump In 2013: Presidents Should Be Fired For Government Shutdowns

CNN host Don Lemon took a trip on the way-back machine last night by airing a 2013 video of Donald Trump saying then-President Obama should be fired over a government shutdown.

Lemon first ran down a list of those agencies and employees that are affected by the current Trump shutdown of the federal government:

• 380K federal employees on leave without pay
• 420K working without pay including 41,000 law enforcement and correctional officers, and tens of thousands of Customs and Border Patrol agents and customs officers.

Lemon then aired a clip from 2013 where Trump told Fox News: “If you say, ‘Who gets fired?’ it always has to be the top. Problems start from the top and they have to get solved from the top."

“The president is the leader, he has to get everyone in a room and lead," Trump continued.

Lemon calls the now-ironic remark “priceless.”

Irony: Fox News' Jeanine Pirro "Leftists Are Normalizing Outrageous Behavior"

Irony is officially dead.

On her Fox News show last night, Jeanine Pirro railed about "unhinged leftists" who are "normalizing outrageous behavior" regarding the story of White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders being asked to leave a restaurant due to the owner's deeply held moral convictions.

“Political debate at the very heart of the founding of this country has devolved into political harassment and outright political abuse. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the White House press secretary, one of the most of prestigious jobs in Washington, D.C., out to dinner, places her order and is then told to leave by the owner because she works for the president of the United States. Sarah quietly leaves.

“The Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen this week was literally screamed and heckled out of a restaurant while eating her dinner. Trump supporters are being harassed all across this country by a hysterical left unwilling to accept the decision and the will of the American people who put Donald Trump in office. These unhinged leftists are normalizing outrageous behavior which is only getting worse.”

Of course, what's hysterical is Pirro is one of the most fervent supporters of the king of 'normalizing outrageous behavior,' Donald Trump.

Pirro being offended by a restaurant owner quietly asking Sanders to leave when the Trumpster has spent years saying every kind of offensive thing he can think of about his political opponents is truly laughable.

I thought Republicans had decided that businesses are allowed to discriminate and don’t have to serve people they don’t want to serve. Or is that just for gay couples who want wedding cakes baked for them?

Donald Trump, the president with the lowest approval ratings in history, took a swipe at Hollywood by pointing out the Academy Awards' low TV ratings with a tweet that read, "Lowest rated Oscars in HISTORY. Problem is, we don’t have Stars anymore - except your President."

The Trumpster added a quick "just kidding, of course," but I'm not so sure he was kidding...

Irony Of The Day: Trump Laments "Shattered Lives" From False Allegations

Donald Trump took to Twitter Saturday morning to defend two White House staffers who resigned due to allegations of domestic abuse.

Time and again Donald Trump finds a way to side with men accused of bad behavior but he never has a word for the victims.

From The New York Times:

In a Twitter post, Mr. Trump appeared to raise doubts about the entire #MeToo movement, a day after he had offered sympathy for a former aide accused of spousal abuse.

“Peoples lives are being shattered and destroyed by a mere allegation,” the president wrote on Twitter, adding: “There is no recovery for someone falsely accused - life and career are gone. Is there no such thing any longer as Due Process?”

On Friday, the president had jumped into the controversy over the former aide, Rob Porter, who is accused by two former wives of physical and emotional abuse, defending him and offering no denunciation even for the idea of assaulting women. Mr. Trump, who himself has been accused of sexual misconduct, focused instead on Mr. Porter, saying that he was enduring a “tough time.”

Of course, this is the same man who makes unfounded claims against his enemies all the time...

Roy Moore's Jewish Attorney Is Longtime Friend/Supporter Of Opponent Doug Jones

Well, this is just delicious!

Last month, on the eve of the Alabama election to replace the Senate seat vacated by Jeff Sessions, Republican candidate Roy Moore watched his wife tell a crowd that rumors of the Moores being anti-Semitic were untrue because "One of our attorneys is a Jew!"

That lawyer, Richard Jaffe, was hired to defend the Moore's son against drug charges in 2016.

It turns out Jaffe is a longtime friend and supporter of the Democrat in that race, Doug Jones.

As we all know now, Jones won that election.

Jaffe told the Washington Examiner he has been close personal friends with Doug Jones for more than 30 years and he both contributed to, and raised money for, his campaign.

"There could not be a more passionate supporter of Doug than me!" Jaffe said.

The Birmingham-based lawyer walked alongside Jones as he took center stage to deliver his acceptance speech and plans to be in the Senate gallery on Wednesday as Jones is sworn in.

Above is the list the White House released of terrorist attacks they feel "did not receive adequate attention from Western media sources."

The White House list includes attacks covered extensively by CNN and others: Paris, Nice, San Bernardino, Brussels, Istanbul.

May I point out they include "Orlando June 2016." I'm guessing that's referencing the Pulse Nightclub shooting that killed 49 people. And was covered extensively for days and days and days.

And then there's the "Paris, France November 2015" - no one ever heard about that one, amiright?

I'm wondering why the Dylan Roof shooting in South Carolina wasn't listed. Nine people dead in a church wasn't "terrorist" enough for this White House?

Bristol Palin was paid $262,500 as a teen pregnancy prevention spokesperson for Candie's Foundation in 2009. From tax records made available today, that means she was paid almost 7 times what the group disbursed (only $35,000) in grants to actual teen pregnancy health and counseling clinics.

From The Candie’s Foundation website: "a non-profit organization that works to shape the way youth in America think about teen pregnancy and parenthood. Research has shown that teen girls who have been exposed to the foundation and its messages are more likely to view teen pregnancy and parenthood as stressful and negative, and they are more likely to be skeptical of the media's portrayal of teen pregnancy and parenting. They also think teens should wait longer to have sex than girls who are not aware of the foundation and its messages."
