In case you missed it, Netflix dropped Season 4 of the Emmy Award-winning series, Queer Eye.

As part of the new season, the Fab 5 head to the Kansas City high school where cast member Jonathan Van Ness spent his teens to 'make better' his favorite teacher.

As a bonus for that episode, the guys sit down for a chat with the school's Gay/Straight Alliance for a candid conversation on subjects ranging from coming out, burgeoning self-awareness, bullying, and allies.

Van Ness openly shares that during his days at Quincy High School, ""I couldn't walk in these halls – I got called the F word every ten steps I took."

"At that time Gay-Straight Alliance was something I didn't think would be literally allowed," he added. "As someone who got so bullied and so tormented, you guys are light years ahead of where I thought the movement would be."

I had a similar experience in high school growing up in Texas. As a gay man today, I'm not impressed by the support these kids get via a GSA, but how they have such confidence to deal with who they are at such a young age.

Karamo Brown asks the kids, "Where did you get the courage to come out?"

With no pause a student chimes in, "You," pointing at the Fab 5.

"I was having a lot of anxiety and doubt, but then I discovered you guys, but you don't seem to have much stress at all," she continued.

Check out the 5-minute clip with Van Ness, Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown, Tan France, Antoni Porowski - and some really amazing kids – below.

Are These Two 'Queer Eye' Celebs Dating?

Two stars of Netflix's 'Queer Eye' pulled an April Fool's Day-in-July Instagram hoax
Queer Eye stars Jonathan Van Ness & Antoni Porowski (via Instagram)

Fans of the Netflix ‘make better’ series, Queer Eye, had a social media meltdown when two of the show’s stars, avocado-loving foodie Antoni Porowski and mustachioed grooming guy Jonathan Van Ness, posted a photo on Antoni’s Instagram account of the two just about to engage in a hot and heavy make-out session.

Accompanying the photo was the caption, “I guess Amurica’s birthday’s our anniversary, babe,” complete with heart emoji.

Aw....

Over 700,000 fans ‘liked’ the post and 1,100+ commented with an array of rainbow and heart emojis.

One fan offered to be the flower girl at the boys’ wedding.

Another penned a voyeuristic, “I would watch.”

Some commenters, though, warned that if the July 4 announcement was not on the up-and-up, they would be done with the duo.

Wrote one fan, “If this is fake, I’m literally never French tucking again.”

Well,…

Today, Van Ness fessed up, taking to HIS Instagram to calm fans down, saying, “It was all Antoni’s idea [pride flag emoji], but maybe someday we will fall in love.”

He added a hashtag that read, “not a couple but it was fun right”

Fellow Queer Eye cast mate, Bobby Berk commented, “How much do I have to beg you to keep the jvntoni account up and running just for the content?”

Berk added, “Made the news and everything - that’s when you know you’re ICONS!”

In truth, it appears this is how the two jokers spent their July 4th holidays:

Happy Bday America 🏳️‍🌈 One of the things that makes me proudest to be American is the ability to openly dissent. To speak negatively of your government in many countries isn’t permitted, I’m grateful here that we are able to call things the way we see them. That being said, trans women of color are being killed by guns, queer lives are being taken by guns, all Americans lives have been effected by gun violence. The house passed a bipartisan gun violence bill to help close the loopholes in the background check system in gun purchases, it won’t get a vote because of @senatemajldr - it is supported by over 90% of Americans & 75% within the NRA. Or the #equalityact which also enjoys overwhelming public support which we desperately need passed to ensure equal rights for people despite sexual orientation or gender expressions at a federal level. What makes America great is our diversity, our ability to speak TRUTH to power, and our ability to VOTE. Use today to connect with people you care about to see what matters to them about what we want to see happen here in the United States. Do we want a senate that won’t even vote on bills passed by the house? Do we want leaders who openly defy the constitution, engage in subvert and overt racism or do we want fairness and equality? Do we want to sanction police brutality or do we want to feel safe around law enforcement? I want an America that is more fair, more united, and allows the opportunities that I’ve been able to have for all. To achieve change we have to talk to each other, let’s celebrate today but keep on speaking your truth to power. 🏳️‍πŸŒˆπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

• Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) grilled Daniel O’Day, the CEO of Gilead Sciences, over the high costs of the pharmaceutical company’s pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) medication Truvada.

As she correctly points out, Gilead is making billions a year from Truvada, but the core research for PrEP was paid for and done by the U.S. government. Watch AOC push for a decent answer:

• Following Alabama lawmakers, the Missouri House of Representatives has passed an anti-abortion bill that bans abortions after eight weeks into a pregnancy, and does not have an exception for victims of rape or incest.

• E! Online reports that Queer Eye co-stars Karamo Brown and Antoni Porowski had "an extreme amount of conflict" during the shooting of Season One of the Bravo series.

• Check out the first look trailer for the upcoming new super-hero series, Batwoman, on the CW this fall on Sundays. Australian actress Ruby Rose stars as the openly lesbian crime fighter.

Almost two millions views on YouTube in a day. But the like/dislike ratio is something to see - 87k thumbs down (homophobes) versus 36k thumbs up.

'Queer Eye' Guys Share The Impact The Show Has Had On Conservative America

The cast of Netflix's 'Queer Eye'

The men of Netflix’s Queer Eye joined the ladies of The View to chat on the impact the Emmy Award-winning show has had on the country, especially in rural America where the show has been filming some episodes.

Design guy Bobby Berk shared about a message he received privately on social media from a preacher who feels differently about gays having watched Berk share his story of growing up in the church and feeling unwanted there.

“My whole life I was taught in church that homosexuality is a sin, that they’re pedophiles, that they’re heathens, that they’re definitely going to hell and that they choose to be that way and in turn my church I have preached the exact same way.

And hearing you talk about how every single day of your life you cried and you begged and you pleaded and you prayed for God not to make you gay but you still are showed me that it isn’t a choice and that you were born that way and I’ll never preach that way in my church again.'”

“To hear that now little kids in that church aren’t going to grow up and be taught to hate who they are, that’s worth everything."

Joy Behar brought up the MAGA hat that culture guy, Karamo Brown, received from a Trump supporter.

“I threw the hat away,” admitted Karamo. “But ironically, that guy and I, we are best friends.”

“For five gay guys to go into rural America and feel as if we’re making a change, it feels really good,” he continued. “We can’t expect people to grow until we show them who we are.”

Newly-engaged Karamo also admits to be something of a 'Bride-zilla" having just rented a ferris wheel for the upcoming nuptials.

Tan France, who now lives in Salt Lake City with his husband, shared that he knew most of America had never seen 'this' - a gay Muslim - but the reaction he's received has been "the most beautifully warm welcome" he ever could have imagined.

An interesting exchange happened when Behar asked food expert Antoni Porowski his thoughts on the same-sex kiss that ended a number from Broadway’s The Prom on last week on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Porowski offered a tentative, “I think it’s a reminder that the rest of the country is not New York and we need to remember that.”

But grooming guy Jonathan Van Ness seems to be a bit fatigued with waiting for folks to feel the gay love.

“Why?” inquired Van Ness. “I’m so done making the people feel comfortable.”

"I've had to endure a lot of heterosexual kissing in my lifetime," Van Ness added.
