#Hashtag with Jimmy Fallon & Justin Timberlake

I don't know WHY this makes me think @JaymesV

Timberlake and Fallon hilariously recreate a normal human conversation... but with the ridiculousness of hashtags appended to every statement. This is how we all sound like on Twitter. Or on Facebook. Or on Instagram. Or in life.

Music: Jaymes & James, Team Chippendales on The Amazing Race, release debut single

Jaymes & James - Team Chippendales from "The Amazing Race" - are releasing their first single, "Light Up the Skies," produced by Tanzer, and available at iTunes and Amazon.

The Chippendales breakout stars of CBS' "The Amazing Race" have gone musical. Or if you want to get technical, they've actually just gone back to their musical roots.

"Long before Chippendales ever happened, we were both in music," explains Vaughan.

Vaughan (Jaymes) has released several pop songs in the past and performed in various reviews throughout the world, while Davis (James) has fronted several successful progressive metal bands, including most recently, My Name Engraved. Both have had success in their individual music careers but never released any collaborative efforts, until now.

For the first single off their upcoming EP, the duo has teamed up with international producer Tanzer to blend their styles and create the dance track "Light Up The Skies."

But, the song is more than just about having fun, for the duo it has real meaning too.

"To me it's about losing my Dad and making the most of every moment after to make him proud," says Vaughan. "I told him he'd see me win a Grammy one day, and dammit I am still gonna make that happen!"

Davis adds "But, it's also about us taking the leap to start this musical journey together," says Davis. "It's even got a few hints of the fear you face when starting a new relationship - something for everyone."

AMAZING RACE contestants to 12 year old - "It Gets Better"

Amazing Race winners The Beekman Boys says they've received more than 8,000 letters of congratulations from various fans. One of them happened to be from a woman who says her son Colin is gay and bullied:

“I’m sure you guys are way too busy to read this, but I want you to know how inspirational you two are to my 12 year old son. He is gay and is dealing with bullying and harassment in middle school. It’s so hard to see him going through this, and sometimes the “It Gets Better” message is lost on a 12 year old who feels that middle school will never end…We cheered you on every Sunday night and agonized every time you had difficulties. My son was so incredibly thrilled when you two won last night (as was I!). Thank you for helping him see that not only DOES it get better, it gets AMAZING.”

In response, Brent and Josh asked each of the teams on this year's show to send a message of support to Colin, and all of them did so.

Jaymes and James: Forget Cancer Now

Jaymes Vaughan and James Davis of The Chippendales

From Jaymes Vaughan and James Davis of The Chippendales are raising funds for Vaughan's father who is in a tough battle with cancer:

My Dad always told me I could do anything I wanted. He encouraged me and made me feel like the world was mine to conquer.

Now he is battling one of the rarest forms of cancer in the world, and he needs help to conquer it.

Anything you can do to help me help him would be more than appreciated. No donation is too small.

Thank you for your continued love, prayers, and support. Bless Y'all...

Team Chippendales on RumorFix: Vanessa Macias DUI

Amazing Race season 20 star Vanessa Macias got busted for a DUI on Friday, and now some of her fellow Race stars are coming exclusively to RumorFix to give their two cents about the incident.

Team Chippendales, Jaymes Vaughan and James Davis, from the show’s 21st season, tell RumorFix that driving while intoxicated is straight up wrong, even if you are part of the Amazing Race family. They tell us, “Driving while intoxicated is wrong! There are a million ways to do it. Take a taxi cab, call a friend, sit down and take a nap! There is so little excuse to be behind the wheel while you’re drunk.”

Being positive thinkers, Vaughan and Davis think the fact someone from the Amazing Race family has been arrested could actually be used for good. The two hunks agree, “Vanessa’s arrest is actually a good opportunity to open people’s eyes a little bit, because a lot of time people think they can have a drink and drive. And Vanessa seems like the kind of girl that can turn stuff around and speak out [about driving under the influence] and say ‘Hey, I made a dumb mistake, don’t do the same thing, and this is why you shouldn’t.’ So, hopefully she does that.”

All that aside, Team Chippendales assures RumorFix that they sure as Hell won’t be cruising down the same road as the former Amazing Race contestant. Vaughn adds, “Do I want to be on the road while she is? Probably not … We ain’t racing around with Vanessa — Thank God we ain’t racin’ next to her while she be drivin’ and drinkin’!”

Jaymes and James can be seen nightly in Chippendales at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Jaymes Vaughan of Chippendales and Amazing Race on cover of Instinct Magazine

Jaymes Vaughan of the Chippendales and CBS' The Amazing Race

The October Issue of Instinct has always been a "vacation/travel" issue, with great gay destinations near and far  to explore—and the 2012 edition is certainly no exception. This year, Instinct managed to find a cover guy who is not just easy on the eyes, but also knows a thing or two about frequent flying. That’s because this month, The Amazing Race contestant Jaymes Vaughan is opening up his baggage and telling all to Instinct!

Frequent Las Vegas visitors may recognize Jaymes from his hosting gig of the Chippendales show, but Instinct gets all up close and personal with this Southern boy in this month’s cover story, “The Incredible Journey.” Jaymes shares that though he may have literally been around the world and back for a reality show, it’s his journey of self-discovery that he’s most proud of. From a sheltered, religious upbringing to eventually setting up roots in, of all places, Sin City, this charmer is proving true beauty is, in fact, more than skin deep.

Read the whole article at Instinct Magazine.

And just in case you forgot, here's Jaymes's calendar shot from The Chippendales:

Music video: "Vampire" - Jaymes Vaughan

Jaymes Vaughan, current lead singer and MC of the Chippendales in Las Vegas, released his first single "Vampire" and here's the music video.

Pretty impressive for a first release.

And of course, he's not bad to look at either.

:)
