US Marine turned underwear model Alex Minsky featured in HUNGER GAMES promo
In advance of the upcoming The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, the studio has produced Capitol propaganda posters called "District Heroes." Each district features a "citizen" of that area and the main industry for that district.
Hunky and inspiring US Marine turned underwear model Alex Minsky is featured on the District 7 poster highlighting the Lumber District. Text accompanying the beautifully shot pic:
"Elias Haan, 26, has kept the axe handed down to him by his great-grandfather as a reminder of the hardships he and his great District have overcome."

Alex Minsky featured in "Broadway Bares: Rock Hard!"
US Marine turned sexy underwear model Alex Minsky taking the stage this past Sunday at "Broadway Bares: Rock Hard!"
After performing almost naked for the sold-out crowd, Minsky took to his Instagram to post:
"BROADWAY BARES! What an experience!! I am FOREVER GRATEFUL FOR MY DANCE PARTNERS LAST NIGHT! Words cannot even describe how I feel right now 😊😍 #bwaybares changed my life forever for the better. The people I've met, relationships I have made. These will last a lifetime."

The sexy benefit event features Broadway's sexiest bodies raising money for HIV/AIDS organization, Broadway Cares. This year's edition, on this past Sunday, raised $1,386,105 to benefit BC/EFA.
The 24 editions of Broadway Bares have now raised more than $12.6 million for Broadway Cares.

The video features veteran turned model and actor Alex Minsky, whose motivational story of losing his leg at war has landed him on The View, The Today Show, GMA, and Jay Leno.
Also featured is Lori Duron and her son C.J., the author and subject of the award-winning book and blog, Raising My Rainbow: Adventures in Raising a Fabulous, Gender Creative Son.
Diamondback Annie, rock and roll showgirl and award-winning burlesque star is also featured.

Interview and behind-the-scenes footage of US Marines veteran turned model Alex Minsky during a photoshoot for Jack Adams Clothing.
Minsky's popularity on the internet continues to grow exponentially as his story of overcoming the loss of his leg due to a car bomb in Afghanistan and almost crippling alcoholism led him to find fitness as his refuge. It was walking out of a gym that he was discovered by a modeling scout.
And the rest, is history.

US Marine vet turned model joins the ladies of The View
Sexy US Marine and underwear model Alex Minsky joined the ladies of The View to talk about the loss of his leg while serving that led him to alcoholism, and his personal revival via personal training that led to his successful career as a model.
Regular readers of The Randy Report know I've covered his back story before: The military vet returned to the U.S. after losing his right leg due to a car bomb while stationed in Afghanistan. After beating a short, intense round of alcoholism, he began a tough workout regimen to regain his physical and mental health.
One day a photographer noticed the tattoo-covered Minsky leaving the gym and an unlikely modeling career was born.

Facebook seems to have a double standard when it comes to banning/blocking certain pics
I've written several times about former Marine veteran turned fitness model Alex Minsky on The Randy Report. You can find a couple of those posts here and here.
My friend David Toussaint over at GuySpy has written about an interesting double standard that's taking place on Facebook when it comes to certain pics being banned while others are allowed no problem.

This week Stokes was banned for thirty days for posting the below photo of Alex Minsky.
However, a quick search of the social network’s pages found these two female images. You can find plenty more yourself on this Facebook page. I think the human body is beautiful, but this seems much more "sexual" in nature than the above Minsky pics. Maybe it's me...
And how about this one, which Facebook also seems to have no problem with.
What do you think? Double standard going on here?

The photographer, Michael Stokes, was banned from Facebook for three days. The photo eventually resurfaced, with no apologies, after it had been removed from approximately 4,000 people’s pages who posted it in a sign of solidarity. Read the story here.

Wounded Marine Alex Minsky inspires as fitness model

I've written about the handsome and inspiring US Marine turned inspiring fitness model Alex Minsky on The Randy Report before.
Now, Southern California’s KTLA news has caught up with a profile of the photogenic 25-year-old Marine who lost his right leg while stationed in Afghanistan.
The military veteran returned to the U.S. after the accident (which left him in a coma for 58 days), and after coping with the rigors of recovery which included a turn to alcohol began a rigid workout regimen to regain his physical and mental health.
Fate intervened when a photographer noticed the tattoo-covered Minsky leaving the gym, and an unlikely modeling career was born.

The inspiring amputee's most recent photo shoot has him doing some serious rock climbing in Jockey for Manning Up USA, an online community that helps folks overcome adversity through health and fitness.
