New Music Video: Maroon 5 "This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like A Motherf*cker"

Maroon 5 dropped their latest music video last night, "This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like A Motherf*cker."

Sorry for the language; there is a "clean" version out there which replaces "Motherf****r" with "A-ha," but this lyric is clearly the writer's intent so I honor that. Feel free to skip if it's not your thing.

I'm a big fan of the band, and especially Adam Levine (and his bare nakedness that we see a glimpse of in the beginning of the clip).

According to ET, the wedding couples apparently did NOT know about the band's appearance in advance.

Not sure I buy it, but the video is fun to watch. Big fan of Maroon 5 and Adam Levine.

Maroon 5 lead singer and The Voice coach Adam Levine is this year's "Sexiest Man Alive" for People Magazine.

In the new issue of People Magazine, Levine says he cries at movies, loves to be naked and is excited to marry his model fiancée Behati Prinsloo.

Adam Levine is set to be named People's Sexiest Man Alive, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The Voice judge and Maroon 5 lead singer will be revealed as the magazine's choice next week.

Levine, who recently got engaged to Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo, has been included the "Sexiest Man Alive" issue in the past, but never as the top choice.

No word yet on if readers will be treated to a half-nude photo. Stay tuned.

The singer follows recent "Sexiest Man" honorees Channing Tatum, Bradley Cooper and Ryan Reynolds.

A lot of folks envy Victoria Secret model Behati Prinsloo seeing as she's engaged to Adam Levine and all that. But at least she's kind enough to share those "special" moments with the rest of the world.

Behati posted a shot of Adam wearing nothing but underwear (well, okay, and sunglasses) to her Instagram, along with the caption. ”70′s porn called. It wants it’s vibe back. Immediately.”

Back in the early 1980s, when music videos were a "new" thing, the creativity involved was a wide open frontier. So many possibilities.

Narrative, abstract, special effects... so many things to do.

Today, it's hard to come up with something new, in my opinion.

With what 'could' be a fairly naked Adam Levine (in body paint and not much more) in what is one of the more creative expressions I've seen in a music video of late.

Adam Levine is not a fan of Honey Boo Boo

Breaking News: Adam Levine really has no use for Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.

He tells GQ:

"Seriously, Honey Boo Boo is the DECAY of Western civilization. Just because so many people watch the show doesn't mean it's good. So many people witness atrocities and can't take their eyes away from them, but that doesn't mean they're good. That show is literally The. Worst. Thing. That's. Ever. Happened. It's complete f**king ignorance and the most despicable way to treat your kids. F**k those people. You can put that in the magazine: F**k those idiots. They're just the worst. Sorry, I'm so sensitive to that—like, I don't know, man, it's upsetting. Just to clarify, I said, "F**K THOSE PEOPLE."

Adam Levine likes underwear - "don't want things flopping around"

Christina Aguilera, of The Voice, recently declared that she doesn't wear underwear.

In regard to that factoid,  fellow The Voice co-star Adam Levine comes out in defense of the garments:

“It’s so funny ‘cause I love to wear underwear,” he tells AccessHollywood. “I’m not kidding,” the Maroon 5 frontman adds. “It keeps everything in check, you know? Like, I think it’s nice to know everything is set. [With] no underwear… I don’t know what could happen. I don’t want things flopping around. I don’t know if that’s the same for women, it’s a little simpler down there for you guys. I just need a buffer zone between my junk and the outside world.”

Day One for President Adam Levine: legalize same-sex marriage

According to the Advocate, Adam Levine says the first thing he'd do if he were president for one day is legalize same-sex marriage.

During an interview to promote their irresistible new album Overexposed, Levine and Maroon 5 guitarist James Valentine are queried on what would be on their agenda if they were president for a single day. "First I'd make gay marriage legal because that's just archaic and ridiculous," Levine says immediately.

Levine, who will make his acting debut in Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story this fall, is a longtime equality advocate, who in 2010 recorded a video for the It Gets Better campaign to help prevent LGBT teen suicide.

So, for a long time, I didn't really see the appeal in Adam Levine.  People saying how he was so sexy, or hot.

But lately, I think I may be getting it a bit more. Plus, I like Maroon 5.

Although, I'm not a huge fan of all the multiple tattoos.  But to each his own on that one.

The above shot is from a publicity shoot meant to raise awareness for prostate and testicular cancer for Everyman.

This time, it was his girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna getting her hold on him, with her hands the only things covering Levine's privates from the camera.

Levine is no stranger to nudity, telling the magazine: "I spend most of my life naked. In fact, I often have to be told by the people around me that it's inappropriate to be as naked as I am. But I live in California, where it's always warm, so why not?"

Since we tend to not wear a lot while at home, I can relate on that topic, too...
