Trump Proudly Walked Out On Meeting With Dems, Now Begging Them To Come Back

Tweet from Donald Trump on Wednesday, Jan 9: Just left a meeting with Chuck and Nancy, a total waste of time. I asked what is going to happen in 30 days if I quickly open things up, are you going to approve Border Security which includes a Wall or Steel Barrier? Nancy said, NO. I said bye-bye, nothing else works!

On Wednesday, Donald Trump proudly tweeted that he had walked out of a brief meeting with Congressional leaders because he didn't get all of what he wants (his beloved border wall) in order to open the federal government.

Today, the Donald tweeted that "Democrats should come back" and work to end the Trump Shutdown.

He now says "I am in the White House waiting" for the Dems "ready to sign!"

"Democrats should come back to Washington and work to end the Shutdown, while at the same time ending the horrible humanitarian crisis at our Southern Border. I am in the White House waiting for you!"

"We have a massive Humanitarian Crisis at our Southern Border. We will be out for a long time unless the Democrats come back from their “vacations” and get back to work. I am in the White House ready to sign!"

By the way - Senate Majority Leader can bring up the new bills passed in the House at any time to open the government.

The new bills should be passed and sent to Trump to sign or veto.
