Olivia Newton-John Returns To The Country Music Association Awards
How exciting to see Olivia Newton-John return to the Country Music Association Awards last night.
Many forget she began her five decades in entertainment with major success in the country music genre. As a matter of fact, in 1974 she was the CMA "Female Vocalist of the Year."
Along with Hayley Orrantia and Wendi McLendon-Covey, Olivia presented Lori McKenna with the "Song of the Year award" for "Humble and Kind." The song was written for her friend Tim McGraw, who escorted her to the stage to accept the award at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.
