Out singer Michael Blume dropped this second track, "Colors," from his upcoming EP When I Get It Right due out July 29th.
You can listen to the first track from the EP, "Manufactered," here.
Teeming with honeyed vocals, soulful scatting and thoughtful, socially conscious lyrics, When I Get It Right showcases Blume's trademark mix of R&B, neo-soul, hip-hop, jazz, and electronica, with avant-garde twists.
Blume has been celebrated for his intelligent lyrics that explore his passion for civil rights, particularly racial equality and LGBTQ rights.
He hits the road in advance of the EP release with a select run of shows beginning at Bowery Ballroom in New York City on July 26th, where he will be backed by a dynamic 11-piece band. Additional stops have been announced for Philadelphia, DC, and Boston.
