In what may be one of the best speeches of his administration, President Obama addressed the nation today regarding the deadly shooting in Orlando which left 49 dead and 53 more hospitalized.
He also updated the country on the fight against ISIS, and went into detail on the "whys" and "why nots" of using the phrase "radical Islamic terrorism."
"What exactly would using this label accomplish? Would it bring in more allies? Is there a military strategy that is served by this? The answer is none of the above. Calling a threat by a different name does not make it go away. This is a political distraction."
"We are not at war with Islam. We are at war with people who have perverted Islam."
This really is worth the watching.
