Morley Safer, the legendary reporter who became the longest-serving reporter for CBS’s “60 Minutes” news magazine, has died at 84.
Safer retired just last week after 46 seasons with the venerable news magazine.
"A masterful storyteller, inspiration to many of us and a wonderful friend," "60 Minutes" producer Jeff Fager tweeted Thursday.
