Well, hello to the new "Archie Andrews."
I'm thinking New Zealand actor KJ. Apa is waaaaay hotter than the comic book version of ARCHIE. Maybe the TV version of "Riverdale" has something special in the water?
The upcoming CW TV movie is being produced by wonder-producer Greg Berlanti. Here's the description on IMDB:
A subversive take on Archie, Betty, Veronica, and their friends, exploring the surrealism of small town life - the darkness and weirdness bubbling beneath Riverdale's wholesome facade.
Looks like his hair does get dyed red for the role, but he's bringing his six pack abs along, too.
I'm going to have to check the series out when it debuts May 19th.
