Slovenia Rejects Marriage Equality

According to early results released Sunday by authorities, it appears 63% of Slovenians voted against legalizing same-sex marriage, while 37% were in favor.

The country's Parliament passed marriage equality in March, but conservative groups, with support by the Catholic Church, demanded a country-wide referendum.
