Hillary Clinton Continues Strong Lead In National Poll
Results of a new CBS News/New York Times poll shows former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as the main beneficiary of Vice President Joe Biden's decision to not make a run for president in 2016.
Based on a random sample of 1,495 adults (1,259 registered voters), 52% of those who identify as Democrats say they support Hillary Clinton versus 33% for Sen. Bernie Sanders - a 19 point lead.
This mirrors the RealClearPolitics poll average that shows in the most recent surveys (in the last month) Hillary's average lead over Bernie is 21.6 points.
