Conservatives are aghast that, after Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner invited Pope Francis to speak to a joint session of Congress, the lessons from Francis are:
• that we should be more giving to those less fortunate
• we should take care of the planet rather than ravage it
• we should have more grace in our hearts for immigrants
The right wing fringe of the political spectrum, of course, takes the next "logical" step.
