Iconic singer Joe Cocker has died aged 70.

The singer song-writer from Sheffield had a career lasting more than 40 years with hits including "You Are So Beautiful" and "Up Where We Belong."
His duet with Jennifer Warnes - "Up Where We Belong" - went to number one on the charts and garnered both Oscar and Grammy Awards.
The singer's agent, Barrie Marshall, said in a statement that Cocker had died of an undisclosed illness.
