Unemployment Drops To 5.8% for October 2014

The US economy added 214,000 jobs in October, and the unemployment rate edged down to 5.8 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.

Unemployment numbers for August were revised from +180,000 to +203,000, and the change for September was revised from +248,000 to +256,000.

What Democrats have to address is their messaging to the country. There's clear cognitive dissonance afoot when unemployment drops from almost 10% to 5.8% and you have folks saying "Everything's gotten worse" when clearly it hasn't.
