The journey of the hit musical is an inspiring as the story itself. Begun in a regional theater as a project to develop a show that high schools could do licensed by Disney, the production received rave reviews, announced a limited Broadway run, and the rest is history.
The show ended up running 996 performances on Broadway and it now on tour. AND my buddy Chris Gattelli very deservingly won the Tony Award for his high flying choreography.
