Glee: Guilty Pleasure (on occasion)

So, spent the evening catching up on GLEE episodes. Yeah, I still stay in touch with the show when I have some time.

The most recent episode was about 'guilty pleasures.' And I realized watching the show that GLEE itself is a guilty pleasure of mine.

True, very true, the stories and characters aren't nearly as quirky and fresh as they used to be.

BUT I still like how the show integrates some of my favorite music and often reinvents those songs. Like the one above.

I laughed out loud at how gay and 70s the ABBA song was performed. At the very least, they are having fun with the music.

So, yeah, GLEE is still a guilty pleasure for me. Not as great a show was it once promised to be, but they still serve up some fun music and visuals every now and then.
