Beyonce's Inaugural "lip-sync" scandal
So, word got out yesterday that it just may be that Beyonce's fabulous performance at the Inaugural festivities may not have been live singing. From reports out there, it appears that Beyonce was concerned about nailing the song at such an important event, so she reportedly chose to sing to a recorded version of her own vocal.
All this put together, what do you think? Does this "cheapen" the performance the world seemed to regard so highly? Or does it not matter since it was still Beyonce's voice?
One thing I will add: this kind of thing happens far, far more often than the pubic knows. Many spectacular "performances" we've seen over the years have been exactly the kind of scenario described above.
So what do you think? Big deal or no?
