Hand gun deaths by country


I would like for someone to explain the numbers to me.  Why so many gun deaths here versus, say, Japan?  Or Canada?

Are there 10,000 more insane people here? Is that the answer?

    Perfect. Are further comments even necessary? Ok maybe a few! Of the thousands of guns now being frantically purchased by Americans n the wake of recent discussions on gun control, its a sure bet that a hell of a lot of them will be lost, stolen or given away and used to commit crimes. It's the American mindset that is the root of the problem.
