Survivor preview - 3 former players back to win

A preview clip of the CBS show shows the trio -- all of whom were medically evacuated on previous seasons -- giving interviews before shooting started on Survivor: Philippines, which marks the reality competition's 25th season.

"Survivor smacked me in the chops, and this time I'm smacking back," says Russell Swan, who became unconscious as a result of dehydration during a challenge on Survivor: Samoa, the show's 19th season.

Jonathan Penner, meanwhile, has appeared on the show twice before: He originally competed on Survivor: Cook Islands, season 13, but returned three seasons later for Survivor: Micronesia -- Fans vs. Favorites, during which his knee became infected and he was forced to leave the show.

Michael Skupin originally competed on the show's second season, Survivor: The Australian Outback. He was removed from the game after falling into a campfire and burning his hands.

As a viewer of every season of Survivor I'm definitely in the Michael Skupin camp "for the win." Skupin was on track to be a heavy favorite his season, and I'm personally rooting for him to come back and make his mark.
