Reuters/Ipsos poll tracking poll shows President Obama 49-42.
After a bump from the Democratic National Convention, the numbers seem to be holding at that level.
The poll had a credibility interval of plus or minus 3.6 percentage points for likely voters, making the 7 point difference well outside that range.
