It doesn't matter to me, watched one season of this show and couldn't watch no more...I really think Simon turned me off with his antics. And being that I'm not a big Mariah fan, either or with Nick joining, it's still not a draw for me to watch. There are only a few artists out there that would make me tune in and I really don't think those would be considered.
I never heard a song by the Jonas Brothers but I'm assuming if they brought Nick Jonas on as a judge, it would be to attract a younger audience to American Idol, whereas Mariah will bring in (gulp) an older audience. If the Jonas Brothers are still popular (are they??), then it might prove to be a smart move.

ReplyDeleteI think Idol needs someone like Bette Midler or Cyndie Lauper type as a mentor! The show is going from bad to worst without Simon!
