I do like the idea of our politicians going to Washington, D.C. and not being beholden to any one party.

Angus King is a former Governor of Maine, has a 70% approval rating and is currently the front runner for retiring Olympia senate Snowe's seat.

  1. Being an independent vote that could swing the Senate majority puts Angus King in a powerful position. In a recent post, I argue how he can and should leverage this for the good of the republic.
