I'm very proud and glad we did this show about hunger in America. I won't pretend we solved problems here, but we opened a dialogue about the issue and some things people can do to help the problem.
I really hope people will listen and think about even the smallest things they can do to help this issue in America.
Often, the political battle-cry is to denounce anything that helps people as "a government handout" while expecting the private sector to help. So here we are: YOU are the private sector.
Please take a listen and do something. If you don't want the government to help people, and you believe the private sector will jump in to address these issues - please jump in.
