Grand Rapids shows us their town isn't dying
As a response to being named one of America's 'dying cities' Grand Rapids filmed this amazing video: shiny happy people letting the world know they are fine.
5,000 people showed up to break the world record for lipdubbing to Don McLean’s “American Pie,” and it really strikes a chord with anyone whose city has been issued a premature obituary.
I've always liked the song, and to see a town come together like this is amazing. Keep watching. It just gets better.
