A focus group of Republican voters watching last night's GOP debate were not thrilled with what they saw.
Asked for one-word answers to describe their take after the two hour slug fest, moderator Frank Luntz got responses like:
FOCUS GROUP MEMBER: Sophomoric.
FOCUS GROUP MEMBER: Embarrassment.
FOCUS GROUP MEMBER: Disappointing.
FOCUS GROUP MEMBER: Shameful.
FOCUS GROUP MEMBER: Despicable.
FOCUS GROUP MEMBER: Angering.
FOCUS GROUP MEMBER: Disgusting.
FOCUS GROUP MEMBER: School yard brawl.
From all accounts it looks like the favorite of the group was Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who came across as "the adult in the room."
