Donald Trump
Donald Trump celebrated Labor Day by criticizing the head of America's largest labor union, Richard Trumka of the AFL-CIO.

Trumka had dared to suggest that Canada needs to be a part of any North American trade deal.

A few hours earlier, Trump boasted about low unemployment numbers ( a trend established over 7 years of the Obama administration) and "big progress" being made on the U.S. economy.

2017 Labor Day Pool Playlist

I thought I would share my 2017 Labor Day pool playlist via Spotify.

You may notice I'm kinda eclectic in my musical tastes. Everyone on the list is either LGBT or a big-time ally :)

First time trying this, so if it doesn't work, more wine!

Happy Labor Day!

Happy Labor Day 2017!

Happy Labor Day from me and Bruno the wonder dog!

Hope you all have an awesome day remembering that we enjoy this day honoring the men and women who are the backbone, the very machine that makes America run.

I'm a proud union man - I have been my whole adult life.

And for those of you who enjoy having a Labor Day holiday, please remember it was created and fought for by union members, along with the 40 hour work week, overtime pay, family leave, health benefits, child labor laws and a whole lot of other things some folks take for granted today.

Enjoy folks!

Wait a second - Bruno isn't looking at the camera....

Happy Labor Day!

I hope everyone has a fab Labor Day!

And please remember, this holiday (and the minimum wage and fair treatment by employers and weekends and sick days and 30 hour work week and employer health care and more) brought to you by the labor movement and unions.

What a difference a day makes - Labor Day 2012

Well, the good news is I was smart enough to enjoy the sun the past two days while I had it.

This was my biggest problem Saturday and Sunday:

Today is another story:

Life.

And just a reminder to those of you who enjoy your Labor Day holiday - it was created/fought for by union members. Along with the 40 hour work week, overtime pay, family leave, health benefits, and a whole lot of other things some folks take for granted today.

So as you spend time with family and friends today - please remember that.

Happy Labor Day kids!
