Tony & Grammy Award-winner Billy Porter shares his latest music video, "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair," which offers his own timely take on the Rodgers & Hammerstein classic from South Pacific.

The track comes from Billy's latest album, Billy Porter Presents The Soul of Richard Rodgers.

Billy's message here is clear: Resist. Resist. Resist. Resist.

I interviewed Billy when the album was released last year. It was shortly after the election of Donald Trump and Billy was already on fire.

Billy Porter Accepts GLAAD's Vito Russo Award With Powerful Call To Action

In accepting GLAAD’s Vito Russo Award at the 28th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York City on May 6, my man Billy Porter preached to the people about being silenced, remembered those who fought for equality before us, and issued a powerful call to unite against forces that try to discriminate and divide people.

I've known the Tony Award winner (Kinky Boots) for almost 30 years, and this is prime "Billy."

Get your war clothes on, people. Stay strong. Stay vigilant. Stay visible. Stay hopeful. Stay focused. Be brave. Be fierce.

Activists Prank CPAC With "Russian" Trump Flags

Activists Jason Charter and Ryan Clayton of the group Americans Take Action pranked the conservative event CPAC today by passing out red, white and blue flags with the word "Trump" on them.

Only problem was - it was the wrong "red, white and blue."

From Talking Points Memo:

Charter, 22, told TPM by phone that he and Clayton organized the prank in order to "honor Trump's relationship with Putin." He said almost no one at CPAC seemed to realize the flag he handed them bore the horizontal red, white, and blue stripes of the Russian Federation underneath Trump's name.

"I asked people if they wanted a Trump flag and they took it," Charter said. "Many Trump supporters were proudly waving their Russian Trump flag."

"I think it says a lot about Donald Trump's base and their education level," he said. "I don't want to insult anyone, but I think you should know what the Russian flag is. They are one of the world's major powers, and it's a pretty easily recognized flag."

CPAC staff quickly confiscated the flags, but not before the embarrassing image went viral on social media.

Huge Protest In Front Of Trump Tower Led By Cher, Robert De Niro, Alec Baldwin, Mark Ruffalo

Thousands showed up last night in front of Trump Tower in New York City to protest in anticipation of the Trump administration.

And so it begins.

Celebrities who oppose Donald Trump are not sitting out this Inauguration. The night before Trump is to be sworn in as the 45th president of the United States, A-listers came out in droves for the “We Stand United” rally in New York City.

Stars including Alec Baldwin, Julianne Moore, Cher, Mark Ruffalo, Shailene Woodley, Marissa Tomei, Robert De Niro, Sally Field, Rosie Perez, Michael Moore, Cynthia Nixon, and NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio all spoke and sang at the rally, which was held outside of Trump Tower.
